    Great video, 70 seasons is awesome, hope he keeps on keepin on! Just think of the changes in farming that guys seen over the years ....amazing. Really liked your discussion of the soil types. Have a good one!

      He really is a living legend. I’m always amazed when I get the chance to listen to him talk about how he can remember when they farmed with horses and the changes that he’s seen in his farming career!

    How does a farm get picked to participate in a seed plot study? Do you sign up for it or does the seed company approach you? Definitely seems like a win win scenario.
    Wow that's impressive to still be farming at 90. 👍 I just hope to be able to stand on my own. Awesome video.

      It’s really kind of a volunteer thing, you tell the company you want to do a plot and they work with you to make it happen. We do a variety plot every year with corn to test new hybrids. We are always looking ahead to see what we can improve for next year.
