- Christians use a vast library of Jewish writings from the time before Jesus in their worship, reflection, and study - and they call this library ‘the Old Testament.’ In this video we look at how it involves histories - not as we use the term, stories that are far more complex than we usually imagine, and a series of overlapping covenants which can be the key to understanding much of what we read.

Christians as atheists, all seek to confirm their personal convictions. So when an academic of this quality lays down a theory as different from what we are used to, then we remain suspicious. And if we meet that the theory is so well set up that it is difficult to refute it, then people ignore voluntarily because they are confronted in their convictions.
Look at God use you for knowledge sharing!!!!

I can't imagine the Earth was heavenly before Adam broke the covenant, considering there were predatory beasts roaming the land for ages.
Isn't the garden of Eden a parable about our heavenly state of grace, far before any earth existed?
She left out the characters that said let's kick Adam and Eve out of the Garden before they eat from the tree of life and live forever. Must have been "Apples" of Immortality on the Tree of Life. Not her "Wisdom". And they were kicked out and guards were put at the gate to keep them out. It was still nice in the garden.
The Abrahamic Covenant is everlasting. How can you this when you're very keen on so much!
