Movie name: Dark Planet (2008) ❤ Don't forget to leave a like if you've" enjoyed the video :) Check this other recap: Astronaut gets captured by 300 aliens that have been living on the moon for 1000 years (ruclips.net/video/Ao5e8iRYu58/видео.html)
it's cheaper to film that way. I kinda like it though. adds a bit of mystery to it leaving you wonder why there are humans on other planets and you start pondering the lore.
I'm actually pretty confident that humanoid beings would be the standard for most of the universe. I'm not saying there wouldn't be variants here and there, but judging by what we're made up of and what everything we can see is made up of and how similar it all is, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they were humanoid. Now that's not to say they would be safe to touch and I wouldn't go eating or drinking whatever they do.
This movie is a faithful adaptation of Arkady and Boris Strugatsky's 1969 novel "Dark Planet". The English language translation was first published as "Prisoners of Power". Obviously as it's from 1969 the plot and themes were not, as suggested by some people, here, inspired by later movies and books
The same authors wrote "A Roadside Picnic" which was inspiration for the Stalker movie (and games). Great books they made, that were my favourite readings long ago.
Not gonna lie this is my fav recap channel now I’m mad I couldn’t see the one you uploaded yesterday then deleted just happy you put one up today I love the background music so much
Thank you so much for your feedback! We really appreciate it. Yes we deleted our video yesterday, we’ll publish it in a few days! See you in the next recap
I stopped watching this video after the first few minutes because I decided that I wanted to see the movie and did not want to see spoilers in this video. By mistake, I ended up watching a movie titled, "Dark Planet," not "Dark Planet 2008."
On April 10, 2017, Vasily Stepanov, (Maksim) being in a state of depression, threw himself out of the window of the 5th floor of an apartment building on Davydkovskaya Street in Moscow. He sustained multiple serious injuries and fractures
War, Famine and Diseases are a thing of the past. How about Death? Beating only three of the 4 Horsemen is not complete, since Death is the strongest out of the group.
great ideas. well woven. How did I miss this? Obviously in a bottom draw somewhere and not enough 1 legged black lesbians transitioning to giraffes in it to be promoted?

The civilization doesn't look at all like '1900 AD.'
I'm always disappointed when a human ends up on an unknown planet and runs into the same species again, i.e. humans.

U must expect tentacle sex , ape like human vs octopus thing with tentacle sex
This sounds and looks like an updated Flash Gordon adventure.
Maksim is way too gorgeous in this movie.
He looks like Sasha Zverev …
Rada was an alien to himand yet smitten by him. My man has interstellar rizz.
So, this is the reverse of the Star Trek TOS episode 'For The World Is Hollow And I Have Touched The Sky'.

How did I miss this movie? 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Seriously. My thought exactly. Some day they will make an app that makes this movie pop up when I say “sci-fi”!
On April 10, 2017, Vasily Stepanov, (Maksim) being in a state of depression, threw himself out of the window of the 5th floor of an apartment building on Davydkovskaya Street in Moscow. He sustained multiple serious injuries and fractures
Loving the Kirkland-brand Gary Oldman
Sound like why they use 440HZ instead of 432HZ
War, Famine and Diseases are a thing of the past.
How about Death?
Beating only three of the 4 Horsemen is not complete, since Death is the strongest out of the group.
Yeh 'Dark Pianet' is a great film.
True to Hollywood traditions, of course he's "young". He just couldn't be in his 50s...
If the planet was so habitable then why it wasnt the first priority -- Basic Plot Loophool
someone definely used Warhammer 40 k as inspiration
Damn, if that's what 1900 looked like, my History teacher was full of sh!t....
A surfer dude astronaut.. ok I guess.. So much in this movie, is it like 10hrs long?
Surfer dude astronaut in a space ship that looks like a squid
Whats the name of this movie?

Dark Planet (2008)
Never heard of this one...looks interesting !
This movie speaks the truth...
This is based on a book in the Noon Universe book series. Worth reading if you are into post apocalypse dystopian scifi.
This looks like a good movie
I'm glad you think so! It's definitely worth a watch.
The name of the movie?
It would have been entertaining, if this video was with it's original sound, not narrated!
Why don't you just play the movie so you don't have to narrate what's going on 2:27
A fucking good job 🎉 but I do not even hear the music! All perfect for me !!!
I want to see this movie
Dark Planet (2008)
Question- Why send a child, alone to "explore the galaxy"?
Cerita sdg di cerita kn
BTW using hydrocarbons for fertiliser and logistics we solved large scale famine in the 1990s.
Max is like a Übermensch lol.
A alternative dimension of 19th-century
And in 1900 AD they had TV , autmatic guns, tanks....
Obviously 😎
7:27 "..the southern border of the country..". Okay, I know where this is going.
1900? Thinking that is a bit off
It's hilarious how in the future, people build incredible spaceships that always crash.......hahahahahaaaaaa.
We also are listening to propaganda, democratic propaganda.
Nice.
Thanks!
See you in the next recap :)

Wouldn't mind getting stranded on an alien planed for a woman like Rada
Movie gives Killzone vibes
I totally agree! The movie definitely had that intense and action-packed atmosphere just like Killzone. Loved every minute of it!
It's almost like they predicted the war in Ukraine.

Abraham Lincoln
Different name, same game
Bad recap for a worse movie. Russian Sci-Fi movies have a brilliant way to f*ck up a potentially good story.
