The funny part is China develops missiles, deploy along India border and sells to Pakistan. Pakistan deploys along India border. Suddenly Indian Army know they need something like this. They prepare the requirements for 10 years and then DRDO takes another 10 years to develop and then both tests the system for another 10 years and another 10 years for CCS approvals! On ground our soldiers die!

The announcement by India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to begin the production of the Pinaka III long-range rocket is undoubtedly further proof of India's significant advancements in the field of indigenous military technology. The development of the Pinaka III rocket system not only demonstrates India's technical prowess in modern warfare but also highlights its formidable defensive and offensive capabilities in countering threats from China.
As an indigenous long-range rocket artillery system developed by India, the Pinaka III boasts exceptional precision strike capabilities and extended range, capable of performing excellently in complex terrains and long-range combat scenarios. The induction of this rocket system will further strengthen the Indian Army's defensive capabilities along the border, giving it a more proactive strategic position against the Chinese military. In contrast, while China possesses a large quantity of weaponry, it still relies heavily on foreign technology for innovation and often encounters issues in actual deployment.
Although China's military power has rapidly expanded in recent years, its ability to independently develop equipment remains limited. Many of its weapon systems struggle to match India's innovative products in terms of precision, reliability, and advancement. The Pinaka III rocket system not only offers a longer range but can also execute large-scale saturation attacks in harsh battlefield conditions. By comparison, China's long-range rocket systems often lag behind advanced weaponry like the Pinaka III in terms of precision and responsiveness.
India's recent progress in indigenous defense research and development is a powerful declaration of its status as an emerging global military power. The emergence of the Pinaka III rockets signifies the maturity and robust innovation capabilities of India's defense industry. Unlike China, which relies on external technology acquisitions, India is steadily mastering key military technologies and achieving breakthroughs in high-tech weaponry. This not only enhances India's defense capabilities but also elevates its standing on the international stage.
From a strategic perspective, the deployment of the Pinaka III rocket system will grant India more proactive offensive and defensive options in its border conflicts with China. In recent years, China has frequently provoked incidents along the border, but facing a militarily stronger India, it will have to reassess its expansion plans. The induction of the Pinaka III rocket system means that India can effectively deter China's border threats and deliver powerful retaliatory strikes when necessary.
In summary, India's ongoing advancements in military technology, particularly the successful development of advanced weapon systems like the Pinaka III, underscore its unwavering commitment to safeguarding national security and sovereignty. This achievement is not only a strong response to Chinese military pressure but also a demonstration of India's strength and potential as an emerging military power to the world. Meanwhile, China, despite its numerical advantage, will undoubtedly face greater pressure and challenges when confronted with an opponent like India, which is technologically advanced and strategically focused.

DRDO should only create technology. Manufacturing should be handed over to private players.

India must enhance its air power to surpass China's capabilities. Learning from Israel's defense systems in the Middle East crisis can provide crucial insights.
    1. Layered Defense Systems: Develop multiple missile defense layers like Israel's Iron Dome.
    2. Real-Time Intelligence: Improve surveillance with drones, satellites, and AI.
    3. Rapid Response: Enhance mobility and quick deployment of defense units.
    Collaborative R&D with Israel:
    1. Missile Defense Systems: Jointly develop indigenous systems.
    2. Cybersecurity: Enhance protection against cyber attacks.
    3. AI and Robotics: Integrate advanced technologies into defense.
    Developing New Defense Systems:
    1. Hypersonic Weapons: Invest in advanced missile technology.
    2. UAVs: Improve capabilities of unmanned aerial vehicles.
    3. Directed Energy Weapons: Develop laser-based interception systems.
To maintain strategic stability, India should learn from Israel's defense strategies, engage in collaborative R&D, and invest in new technologies to enhance its air power against China.
