    I don't read Russian , but from the code it would seem the Photo resistor reads the ambient light and adjust the brightness of the ambilight when running, seems like a nice idea.

    very good looking job. i will do similiar but maybe ill use rotary switch to control brightness against light sensor and there will be no need to make power on/off things

    What is the function of the Photo Resistor ?

    • @crateer
      @crateer 4 года назад +1

      Its like a regular resistor, but the resistance varies depending on how much light hits the sensor

    What does photo resistor do?

    • @yuktabhardwaj7554
      @yuktabhardwaj7554 5 лет назад +2

      it might alter the intensity of the light....like when the room is dark the intensity would be low and vice versa

      with an HDMi input you can send to arduino the video pixels for the leds

    I am a simple electrician, everything I got but where is data signal of video, mean from where it gonna sense video signals, it's not shown how to connect from HDMI, plz tell me that so I can make this project for my TV

      Crime Master Go Go it looks like that second program he installed is detecting what colors are on the edges of the screen and transmitting that data to the arduino via usb. I would assume that program has to run all the time, but it would also mean you don’t need to run an hdmi into the arduino.

      Its not connected on hdmi, its run with computer program ang arduino via usb port

    Can you modified or tell me what I need to remove or change in the sketch in order to remove any flashing or any led lights turning on while waking or turning on computer. Ideally I want leds to turn on only when i start ambibox screen grabbing

    Здравствуйте.
    Я не понимаю, как трудно показать цвета на экране, если у вас нет устройства видеозахвата.
    Как он это делает?
    Ты можешь это объяснить?
    Спасибо.

    Your colours are off @7:22 white is blue and even your black is blue wth is up with that?

    • @NibblyBitz
      @NibblyBitz 5 лет назад +2

      Because the white colour is being produced by colours red blue and green and most led strips are not colour balanced the way your monitors leds are, there is settings to try to get true white but with RGB its kind of hard. If you get a RGBW strip it would be a lot better as you have a dedicated led for white.
