When I was a teen back in the late 80's there was a syndicated radio show on late on Saturday nights called " Reelin' in the years" and they used a cut of this for the theme song. Me and my best friend Johnny would stay out cruising around in his Z28 cranking all the great music they would play during the show. It was always great bands but not their most popular tracks, so you could get some of the deeper stuff on the albums( usually the better songs)
Steely Dan is one of my favorite 70s bands. "Rikki Don't Lose That Number" has always been a favorite. I'm enjoying watching you listening to music I grew up with (I'm in my 60s). I could recommend so many songs to you... Fleetwood Mac "Landslide," Blue Oyster Cult "Don't Fear the Reaper," Jackson Browne "Late For the Sky," Stevie Wonder "Don't You Worry Bout a Thing," so many more. Have fun on your musical journey.
This has always been my favorite song of theirs. My husband (got together in 79) had and played all their records. I became a fan, one of his car travel tapes.Great reaction and superpower too.
Hey Polo ~ Welcome to your newest rabbit hole. Steely Dan were absolutely incredible in damn near everything they did. Their first hit was "Do It Again" off their Can't Buy A Thrill album. You will love that track!

I'm generally a heavy metal fan but you will enjoy Steely Dan. A lot of good songs with a slight jazz and blues element to their songs.
I usually have songs in my head that i assign to people in my life...in an attempt to describe them with words that i couldnt find. This was the song i assigned my father. ROCK ON.
I aced your test. I like your chill way of speaking. Thank you for playing all my old fabulous ROCK N ROLL!!!!
This brings back a lot of GREAT memories
The best band I usually forget about then ask myself how when I hear them. Stunning guitar and brilliant lyrics.
8:43 I rocked my ass off to Steely Dan as teenager! THX💜💜💜
Great choice!!! I've enjoyed Steely Dan for many, many years!!
I'd love to have you react to Deacon Blues by these guys.
This has always been my favorite song of theirs. My husband (got together in 79) had and played all their records. I became a fan, one of his car travel tapes.Great reaction and superpower too.
Had the pleasure to finally see Steely Dan live a couple years ago…amazing concert that the hubby and I will never forget!!
Hey Polo ~ Welcome to your newest rabbit hole. Steely Dan were absolutely incredible in damn near everything they did. Their first hit was "Do It Again" off their Can't Buy A Thrill album. You will love that track!
This song came out when I was in High school, sure brings back some memories, Oh to answer your question; "reeling in the years, are you gathering up the tears?-Tyler
I'm jujst happy to hear a reaction channel that has their sound together, sounds great and loud, unlike the other channels I've seen react to this badass song. Thanks for doing it justice with your equipment or whatever. I'll definitely check more stuff out from your channel. Remember, ol skool di d it first and the best, can't change it no matter how hard anyone tries or tries to argue it.
