If MLB really wants to fix their game, they need to do something about their umps. These guys are the most incompetent officials in professional sports, and they have way to much power. They can throw a guy out of the game just because he says something they don't like! Ridiculous!
The only sport that allows its players, managers, and coaches to go off the handle without any real consequences. Except to the water coolers, dugout ceilings, and baseball bats.
The fact that these blatantly biased and/or downright incompetent umpires basically have carte blanche to do whatever they want at all times is embarrassing.
"...we did not come here to watch you today." I also didn't tune in (or, god forbid, pay money) to watch overpaid, overgrown children throw a tantrum because a close (or not-so-close, in some cases) call didn't go their way.
The batters should take it out on the catchers not the umpires! JK. But umpires should take a look at when catchers move their gloves like that to minimize bad calls.
When an umpire goes around the catcher to get his say at a pitcher then he is a bad umpire. it is not his job to argue with the pitcher. Some of these old men need to be retired. If they keep making theses terrible calls A.I is going to retire them.
The umpires can't handle being told that they are wrong. It hurts their egos too much.

MLB umpires are so incredibly bad it makes the sport entirely unwatchable for me. Fire them all. Replace them with robots. Truly awful stuff
