He’s in the northern Irish second division. If that’s reaching for the top at 30 years old for a footballer? Ok. I’m not knocking the man’s journey btw, it’s just not all you make it out to be.

hey man , been a couple years since i last watched you but followed your journey from the og days. youre work ethic and drive is amazing man, youre gonna make it
Hello Brandon, I hope all is well. This might be a far stretch, but I’ve been watching your channel ever since you’ve played for Plymouth Argyle (a recommendation from a friend). We were both really inspired by your journey and coincidentally you now play for our hometown club. We really admire your work ethic and your determination to keep pushing regardless. I wish you all the best in your journey and maybe I’ll see you at one of the games.
I'm not going to lie, I hope I get even if it is quater the opportunity you got😢. Bro I understand you not posting for like 5 months, you have to focus. I've given up on football as it seams my circumstances won't let me. Good luck Brandao, I'm happy your video popped up on my feed as I've been checking your channel for a new video from you
NO WAY! Bro I played for Portadown 2 seasons ago, before they got relegated. It is mental you have been in the same footsteps I took, even training with you
@@badzbadz5524 a bit more than average salary, enough to focus on football and since I had an aunt there, it was low expenses, had a colleague that ended up getting a move for £100k, so it is doable when you think of it
Bro I missed you I've been watching since you were at romania, but I've been watching your journey on tik tok, so glad through all the ups and downs you've made it and signed that contract, hopefully you win the irish cup and qualify for europe GOAT BRANDAO 🙌🏽🙏❤️
But the objective was pro contract. He signed a semi-pro contract, he had quite a few of these before. So you can't really say he has made it. You could say that it the right move as he was not getting game time at the Bay but at best Welsh tier 1 to NI tier 2 is a sideways move
@@MrBobsmith34 no youre wrong he already achieved pro his aim was to play in europe, and its definitely an upgrade he announced he will be playing in front of 10k fans in the final and look at the stadium, massive upgrade, hes the goat
@@pacyguy7144The Irish league cup does not carry a European place. I checked. So I don't see how they can qualify for Europe from div 2? On instagram it says 365 days to a pro contract- so this is still an aim. The goal is play professional for a few months then go back to semi-pro. . The stadium reflects their past not what they are now, while big it also looks run down. There attendances are modest, last year 889 (in tier 1) but this year it be about 500 as the big games against Linfield etc are gone.. According to UEFA co-efficient the Welsh league is 52 out of 55 in Europe. the NI Is 42 but he now in tier 2 not tier 1, so its a sideways step. Ok the club may have potential but this would staying for longer than he ever he stayed a club as a adult. I doubt there be 10000 at the final and also given he was unused sub for first game lets see if he actually plays
guys, according to wikipeadia, Portadown fc is a semi-professional football club. so how does he sign a pro contract at a semi-pro club? thats a curious case indeed.
now it says "professional" again. someone is editing wiki for fun. but as every club in the league is semi-pro, and most clubs in the league above are semi-pro, I will assume portadown is semi-pro.
Way to go Dude! Been watchin' you since the pandemic time. I also had a dream once of becoming a soccer player when I was 21 now I'm 30 and I've given up on it cuz here in us there was just way too much competition and many player who even made it to the top were like the hard work isn't worth it like if they would have put in that amount of hard work in Europe they might woulda even got into teams like chelsea or any other big team plus also not many people showed up in soccer matches until now when these european faces started playin in the mls in our country.
Playing for champions league clubs like Chelsea requires a mix of talent, hard work & talent. Even Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that playing at the highest level is like winning the lottery. Brandao’s not making a whole lot of money but at least he’s still chasing the dream.
Yes Brandao congrats on the new team do me 1 favour PLEASE stay with this team or if not possible in Northern Ireland. I don’t want more videos 4 months from now of you travelling Europe looking for a team. Whether you guys get promoted this season or don’t please stay and settle in 1 country
@@pegobrown9204 That’s just how it is at low level clubs. They keep a handful of players at most because they can’t afford to renegotiate contracts and wages with the same players year to year. They only make exceptions if the player is pretty much carrying that team. That’s why you see pro players on RUclips looking for new contracts every offseason. They wouldn’t put themselves through that risk and play for similar level clubs if they were able to stay where they’re at
Hey man, how do you just turn up at clubs and get trials? Is it just based on the fact you’ve played for of semi pro/pro teams or do you know the right people?
Hey mate, I was wondering about the living situation and wages. I understand it might not be something you want to share, but i was wondering If the club puts you in some kind of housing, or if you have to pay for yourself? Cheers
