Are you comparing to humans? Of course nothing else has a similar lifespan, but some butterflies can live for a long time compared to other insects (I just looked this up, I swear I'm not a bug nerd)
Dang, I guess I'm really leaving money on the table! You've inspired me. I think I'll put together an EP of my mando arrangements or maybe arrange a couple more pieces and make it an LP. If ya want an audio file I can just give it to you to download, but Spotify will take a minute.
This arrangement still manages to perfectly capture the butterfly spirit of the original etude! Very light and simple sounding, with all the elegance. 🦋
@@pianissimo_yt I spent a long time on the arrangement but as I was recording it, I found it wasn't meeting my standard of what I imagined. And the piece is too beautiful, I didn't want something that didn't live up to it. So I kind of tabled/scrapped it. My apologies. Perhaps I should revisit it and see what I can do.
Really beautiful! Whole. Btw: imagine, that this beauty is played by 4 peoples.... But on a piano the whole incredibility must be played by one people😮
Yes, it's incredible what is possible with the right two hands and a piano. Separating out the parts like this gives a different appreciation for the composition as well.
I had no idea this would be such an amazing arrangement for plucked strings, haha ^^ This sounds amazing - I've seen this a while back and I just had to comment :)
oh my god I just discovered this and I love it so much. thank you for uploading. your tone perfectly fits this etude…made me realize the beauty of music again.
Once I got the first part feeling good it was just a matter playing along with it enough to really anticipate the tempo fluctuations instinctively for the other parts.
Dylonely yeah I know right! They just sound so cool I want to learn them because I have a keyboard but the thing i can learn it just I don't have the time to as I am busy
That is the fretless M-Bass (or MicroBass), made by Gold Tone. It's similar to what are called ukulele basses, but I find this one more usable/playable, and I think it's a bit bigger.
Thanks! Yes, definitely. I did a Bartok piece but it was not well received. 20th century classical is not for everyone I suppose. I'd like to do something from every classical era. Chopin is my favorite though.
@@petroglyph888mcgregor2 No green screen. I didn't know much about editing at the time so it was pretty simply just carefully cropping/masking out 3 videos and layering over the fourth.
This would sound cool on a piano. Someone should make an arrangement for it or something.
The original was written for piano, anyway
@@gamingmusicandjokesandabit1240
whoosh
Literally the original song its for piano
@@tonoguel_08 omg really wow i thought it was for the drums

this piece is so delightful, yet so short. much like a butterfly's lifespan
Bruh I don’t think that was the message Chopin was trying to bring😳
@@derekpintozzi2498 maybe it wasn't. but that doesnt mean I cant make a parallel between this piece and a butterfly
@@carluy7351 yeah just a little dark

7 years later i discovered this, and found out that after all these years it still sounds amazingly beautiful just like a butterfly 🦋
So glad to hear that! Thanks for the kind words.
how did you find 3 other people that look exactly like you???? what the hell??
I know a really great plastic surgeon.
how did you force them to get surgery
Blackmail.
In hindsight it probably would have been easier to just do it all myself and splice it together in editing.
u wot
This is great! The guitarist had to switch between like 50 different chords on every beat and the bassist is using shoe laces. Very cool.

Bravo!! This piece seems to foreshadow, by many decades, the ragtime music in America. Very well done, excellent arrangement, Prester Bob is pleased!!
@@RobertButterfield-n4m thanks a lot! And I agree!
Chopin would be proud
Actually Chopin loved Guitar, so I'm pretty sure he would have

I’m surprised how this dude doesn’t have at least a thousand subscribers just by the quality of the editing and video
Dude this is incredible!!
Thanks man, it took a lot of work! Looking forward to new material from you. Anytime soon?
Mitch Sumner yea gonna put out another short EP very soon I hope! Actually tracked most of it in Studio A :)

this is so amazing! criminally underrated. don’t stop making music!
I appreciate that. If having very few people listening to my music hasn't stopped me yet, I don't think it ever will.
Its a crime for you to have only 200 subs. Good stuff from 4 good looking chaps
Kind of you to say!

It's certainly one of the more approachable of his etudes, not just due to its length. They all of course demand great effort.
