Personally, I don't usually bother much about the looks of my gear anyway if it sounds good. Naturally I wish I could at least hear the PlatiMons in the flesh, or even better buy a pair, but though I could at a pinch afford them, they exceed my self-imposed hi-fi budgetary limits and so will probably forever remain just an ideal. You mentioned Open Baffles, which surprised me as I don't remember your ever talking about them before. I myself am a great fan and have built my own Zen Master ZF15M clones (for c. £1300). IMHO they sound considerably better than closed box speakers in similar price ranges. Big and airy, astonishing holographic soundstage. Delicious sweetness and engaging musicality that makes one forget about nitpicking over technicalities -- not that they lack technical subtleties. Maybe you'll treat us to a review of a pair or two of Open Baffles and compare them with your new PlatiMon babies. I can but hope, because it might help me evaluate to what degree my assessment of OBs might be true and accurate. Only a few reviewers, most notably Ron at New Record Day, seem to be turned on to them -- but you have this special gift for description and I'd very much like to hear your take on them. 🙂
I listened to OBs in other systems. They truly fill the whole room with sound. But there is a problem that I wouldn't know how to solve in my listening space. For example, one of these systems gets good clarity only when speakers are almost 2m (6 feet) into the room. I can't give up any more than 1m (3~4 feet) of my living space. It is especially critical here because I live in a brick and concrete apartment that is less forgiving of close wall placement than most American houses. Maybe you remember Audiofiliac talking about his time in NewYork and experience with concrete walls. So it's a rabbit whole I'm not ready to open yet.
@@iiWiReviews Thanks. What a pity, and commiserations!😥 I have my O/Bs only about 3' into the room and they sound great there. They're on castors at the front of the baseplate and teflon glides at the back so I can easily roll them back when required (they weigh a ton with their 40mm thick solid oak baffles). This also tilts them up a little at the front which optimises their sound from the listening seat. One can also build more compact versions with smaller (i.e. less than 15" diam) full-range Lii Song drivers. They reputedly sound just as good, and can probably go closer to the wall, albeit with a slight hit in the bass department (but a sub might help there).
As I've said in one of earlier comments, I've had a pleasure to hear your system with the Spirit Winds and I must say I can't really imagine how these Platimons are so significantly better than the Spirits, as you described in the review. Very nice that you could keep them as reference speakers, of course! They're out of my league, sadly, but I do hope to hear them some time.
@@KarolOlen-ty2lg I did watch the NRD review and that was interesting So I guess we can say as a general matter the Platimons get good reviews NRD is the only outlier and I missed that one Jay and iiWi and other reviewers have them in their systems and that says a lot to me I have zero interest in them as I enjoy live cabinets/open baffles and SE tube amplifiers so some sound color is welcome to my ears I just don’t enjoy clinical sterile music
How is that objective when he only takes the midrange not the full harmonics? If you truly believe New Record Day is a good reviewer, you are fooling yourself. Ron is an advocate only for GR Research. 😂
Srboljub, Great review! Interesting to hear the transparency of the PlatiMon being compared to Focal. Whats your educated guess on how the Acoustic Invader might pair with Focal Sopras? I've been considering buying an Acoustic Invader preamp since I saw your review.
Acoustic Invader preamp generally had natural to warm sound signature and that match should be good. At least in theory because I never tried. The source and the amp will have their say too of course.
I was wondering if you were going to or if you had any subwoofers in mind for that stereo pair .. personally I think they're nice but when you're already spending that kind of money, it's like you must cover that 20 to 40 Hz range..or at least reasonable response down to 27 Hz . Also, I see no reason why a good pair of stands for those speakers should cost 25% of the total .. that's a bit off .. seems like the stand price could easily be cut in half.
Thanks for the review. The speakers look beautiful and I’m sure they sound great. $6K US is expensive but $2K plus for stands is ridiculous. It appears that speaker manufacturers price gouge on stands. Reinforces why towers can be a relatively better deal or even more cost effective buy other affordable stands. Rock on!
I have been fascinated with ball bearing based isolation as it's a great idea, but I have a cat who loves to jump up on my speaker in the morning so he can do his gargoyle impersonation until I get up to feed him. When I do get up, he launches himself across the room with such force that I don't think these balls would be a good match.
Can you please do a follow-up video later in future to discus best equipment matching. I would think with ribbon tweeters, one needs to tame the high, high and to really exploits the 3D capabilities of these speaker one should use an R2R DAC. I wonder how a Class D amp would sound or with 91 ohm impedance, can one use Class A? Will you use a sub woofer with these speakers and if so, which pair? I see you have a flat screen in the same room, I wonder with the sounds stage abilities of these speaker how is its do with 2 channel television watching?
Those are concave (cupped) indents on the stands for the ball bearings. The way I remember conCAVE is that a cave is a recess ... convex would be a dome.
It's been some time so take this with a pinch of salt. Arendals sound bigger and more forward from my memory, but they can't pinpoint and layer with this precision.. It's like bigger but less precise canvas. They are less coherent across frequency range and ask for you to sit further away for all frequencies to blend nicely - most big speakers do. Highs are very precise but not as smooth, there's a bit of hash and some matching care is needed. Platimons are more natural and smoother there.
This Platimon is on my short listt along with Mofi Source point 888 @$5K and Cube Audio Qualio @$7K and Triangle at same price.Stand are a bit too expensive IMHO
The MoFi 888 look impressive but don't reproduce soundstage height. Check Canada's Audio Excellence review, Adrian has a lot of experience. The new 26-inch stands, while expensive, are the correct ones, the previous 22-inch ones are too low.
Great review as always I am sure it must sound gorgeous another strike for Dr Joseph D'Appolito What a wonderful concept And when a concept is very good it can be scaled up and down MTM or WTW
I wish you could review the Philharnonic BMR or the Revel m126Be, both of which are my favorite speakers of all time. I eagerly want to know your opinion on them before I shell out 6k for these 😅
Yes these are well reviewed elsewhere and they should be for $6,000US. Making these your new reference, can I suggest 2 other stand mount loudspeakers to review ! both from Denmark ( so close to you ) both similar design, both in the $4,500US bracket and both could change your new reference, noting they are both cheaper, in fact their pricing inc shipping to your door world wide. 1) Radiant Acoustic Clarity 6.2 and the new Buchardt yet to be released ( info on their web site ) the E50 ( added to my short list as possible end game monitors ) Can we tempt you 😀
Buchardt are headed for 3rd failure for me, now not with one, but with two passive radiators in E50. Which means sub par low level listening, unless one will pressurise the cabinets on volumes, which I rarely listen to (70-80dB). Hence my selection is always limited - as low level listening is nemesis of so many stand mounts is not even funny (exception to some Focals etc.) This issue plagued every single Buchardt released so far and is present of so many (fake) RUclips champions like KEF r3 (but for different reason, current starving design).
I purchased them and if you have them in hands, you know these prices are bargain. Especially with VC Two. If you can produce 6T-8T aluminum speakers of 15kg under $1000, every aluminum product manufacturer will source from you. 😂😂
@@newdevilman1167 Don't be naive , manufacturer must have cost of BOM well under 1000usd to be able to make profit on these if they sell the at 5000usd... Have not seen the crossover parts quality (cost) and drivers as well.
Strange that the same company switches to a dome tweeter in their top of the range model 🤔 AMT tweeter can be impressive in the beginning but I always went back to a dome in the end 😊 If you now believe an AMT is fast, detailed and airy try a Bliesma T34B if you ever have the chance, you need to recalibrate your brain on these topics. The flip side is you can hear defaults in many recordings, defaults I´m sure the musician/performer is not aware of 😅
I considered using Bliesma T25B in one of my builds that never came to be. But I did hear similar beryllium tweeters, they can sound fantastic. Focal beryllium tweeters are still one of the fastest things I've ever heard, but can get annoying if not tended well. RAAL ribbons are crazy airy in a way that is in its own league but not everyone knows to implement them well. Good AMT tweeter is just another great tool that can make excellent sound when used properly. In the end, all of these don't work in a vaccum. I've heard silk domes that sizzled, I heard ribbons that were boring, etc. But a truly skilfull designers can achive fantastic results with any of these.
@@iiWiReviews I agree, the designer is very important in any design. This is my first experience with the Bliesma T34B and I´m still confused after 2 months. There´s is so much more information that it can get fatuiging for your brain to follow (not because the sound is harsh or bright), they are crossed over lower so they cover a part of the higher mids. I think no other midrange driver can reproduce the amount of details of the Bliesma. So I hear sometimes sounds that are not meant to be in the music. With classic music this is of course no issue and sounds wonderful. Instruments (strings, piano,..) can sound scary real. Going back to my other tweeters (Mundorf AMT + SB Acoustics) is no option because suddenly they sound 😴 The journey continues 😊
Yes, they're 22" and they're just tall enough for me and my laid back sitting. 26" would be a better match for my height (6.2~6.3) if I was sitting upright.
I watched another review where female voices seems not to sound so organic and cut frequencies but this maybe is on a very high level and I also cannot afford these speakers. But for this price I would prefer a set of Epos ES14N because "for me" they sound so good and so natural but to be true I also don't like the look of the PlatiMons...prefer the look of the Epos and I had the chance, to listen to them here...nevertheless have fun! Ears are different.
I saw it too but I just don't hear it. It's difficult to comment without hearing it in that particular system and that room. BTW, I heard ES14N recently - great speaker too. Different system though so can't compare them directly.
I have these in house for review currently. There is a lack of naturalness in the midrange with an uncolored front end. If you have a warm and natural sounding dac, preamp, etc. Or are running tubes. You can get the midrange magic to come through. They are a very transparent and highly detailed/nuanced sounding speaker. You just need to be more careful than usual with them compared to other speakers. One reason IIWI may not be hearing a lack of midrange naturalness is because of his dac. I just received a lampucera and that helped the midrange quite a bit. Before that i was using a ladder schumann and a holo audio cyan 2. Lampucera is the best match for sure.
In addition to your wonderfully articulate and insightful reviews, I'm really enjoying the fact you're sharing the tracks that you listen too. In terms of soundstage and imaging, I have found Mishima/Opening from the Kronos Quartet to be great. The soundstage depth is incredible in this track, as is the layered imaging. Enjoy!
@newdevilman1167 Excellent. It's actually the first song on that album called Opening. To experience the full depth requires either full range speakers, or stand mounts with a sub. Honestly, it sounds like the orchestra is playing dozens of feet behind the speakers...at least in my system. To date, I have not had much luck having the same experience using headphones. I have Focal Eligia, but they're not full range enough. Good luck.
Which MTM speaker has the best design in your opinion? All MTMs are ugly... in my opinion, but these are better ones among them. But I do not mind them especially with VC Two. If I can afford VC two one day. 😅
I'm 6.3 (190cm) and if I sit properly straight these shortest stands are shorter than ideal. Tweeter is not high enough to bi in line with my ears. But I sit very laid back on the couch and use AUVA feet beneath the stand so that makes it about right for my use.
@@iiWiReviews so what's the standard for choosing speaker stand? do you evaluate it by sitting straight/forward/laid back? For me sitting differently would actually change the sound (eg laid back feel more bass while forward more 3d life like midrange)
@@MasterofPlay7 I simply aim to have tweeter in line with my eras most of the time. Whatever position is the most common to you when relaxing and listening to music, measure the height your ears are at and find stands that will lift the tweeter to that height too. Small differences, like 10cm up or down, should not make much if the speaker is designed well and has decent vertical dispertion
I’ve been at hifi for 45 years…. With my TAD 2404 in my living room… and custom build field coil speakers in my family room.. using all Tamura outputs 45 and EL37 tubes on all my speakers… BUT.!!! I love all these boutique hifi companies actually extort money for a bullshit little paper cone (6”-8”)drivers at ridiculous cost … and stands at $2200…. What a joke.!!!!
While I understand you have bought them because you like how they sound, I can't understand why you choose a silver edition (instead black) to put in your living room. The lighting will reflect on the speakers and disturb you while watching TV. Putting them into a man cave, then of course color is no problem .
Silver was not my first choice. It was a review sample sent to me... But I ended up liking them in the end. Not much light in the room except ambient ones. I live like a bat with everything dimmed. 🦇😁

6k for speakers is as wild as that 12k mola mola preamp. Rich people are crazy. I do plan on spending around 12k on an entire home theater setup. No way in hell would I spend what could buy a car on a single piece of audio equipment. Make wise decisions if you’re not the ultra wealthy person these are most likely marketing to. And 2k+ for what is just a steel rod and plate and some .40 cent ball bearings is lunacy. Idk what the Koreans were smoking when that decided on that price.
Check out new record day sound clips on the Platimons. Such an unfortunate engineering design flaw, to sound that way an audiophile would say the speaker is broken. Hoping people test theirs for this one. How can people miss this, how?
You think Ron’s review is not biased? Do you really think all other reviewers have bad ears?? 😂 Like you said, you should really hear them instead of listening to the recorded clip on youtube. In the end Ron only praises GR Research… how people miss that? 😂
@@newdevilman1167 Trust your ears. Unless the YT clip was doctored the speaker has a major design flaw in a relatively small frequency band but right smack in the hearing range. Check it out. It’s so blatant if one does not mention it in the speakers then you’ll know either they are biased or unseasoned pretending to be audiophiles. Trust your ears. After all you hear with them. Not a fan of this speakers tweeter only going down to 3khz.....and I guess, I'm not a fan of full MTM speakers either. Glad you like them though. I like the looks of them.
These are as good as or better than speakers costing $10k or $15K. With a pair of REL subwoofers in a medium room, they are as good as floorstanding speakers costing 30K.
as good as these sound i don't think id spend this much money on speakers with woofer drivers less then 7.5 to 8 inch there just no value, this is a poor mans tad or magico also fuk everything else rip out that crossover and lets see it parts price list. neat but not really a great value
Similar kind of benefits that true co-axial speaker design like KEF has? That's not correct at all :-). It won't behave like a point source, meanwhile a well designed co-axial speaker, like the ones KEF makes, will do so. The point of co-axial drivers is that the sound is radiated from a "single point", so that there's no interference from the separation of the drivers and therefore, there are no blind spots of sonic cancelations in the vertical radiation of the speaker. Let's just take the two way speaker. If you physically separate the mid-woofer from the tweeter, as most speakers do, then some frequencies will be played by both drivers. But since the sound is being radiated from two separate points in space, because the drivers are separated, then it might happen that the sound waves from tweeter and woofer will cancel themselves out at some places around the speaker. This usually happens at higher frequencies, mostly somewhere near the crossover frequency between mids and highs. When you have traditional non co-axial speakers at your home, you can test this by playing frequency sweeps when the tweeter of the speaker points exactly right at you and then do the same and stand up above the tweeter and once again third time by crouching well below the tweeter. What you will most likely experience are dips in the frequency response around the cross over frequency standing above and/or crouching below the tweeter axis when compared to the direct sound from the tweeter :-). Placing the tweeter in the middle of the mid-woofer solves this problem. Symmetrical array of two mid-woofers around the tweeter will usually worsen the vertical radiation, not improve it. Adding another mid-woofer above the tweeter will only help the sensitivity, bass, or distortion, whatever the designer chooses between those or even a combination of two or all of these. But it will most likely add another points of sonic cancelation in the vertical plane :-) So no, it's by no means anything similar to co-axial drivers.
Yes, true coaxial and "virtual coaxial"/MTM/D'Appolito are not the same. They do however share some virtues on the horizontal axis where that virtual acoustic centar of the midranges is achieved. That axis is arguably more important for normal seated listening. But yes, true coaxial will have no lobing on vertical axis either. It will however introduce IMD distortion between the drivers and doppler effect for the high frequencies due to moving midrange cone. MTM will introduce lobing but if done skilfully it can even use that to lower ceiling and floor reflections. But theory is theory, the real question in the end is can it really sing. This one can.
The video is long but it is what it is. 😅I still managed to forget one thing - this speaker can take lots of power without sounding strained. It just keeps kicking ass louder.

Maybe you remember Audiofiliac talking about his time in NewYork and experience with concrete walls. So it's a rabbit whole I'm not ready to open yet.
@@iiWiReviews Thanks. What a pity, and commiserations!😥
I have my O/Bs only about 3' into the room and they sound great there.
That was an excellent review. My Tradutto is quite since Helene had her way with us in Augusta, ga.
You're welcome to coffee and music anytime. ☕🎶
@iiWiReviews Thanks. I'll take you up on that invitation, for sure! I'm really interested in how those things sound
What a review, Srba! Bravo!
Never heard anything but praise for the Platimons
Congratulations
Not all are good. These are not the flattest speaker.
Check new record day review... Much more objective than this one. These ones are an easy skip in my book.
@@KarolOlen-ty2lg I did watch the NRD review and that was interesting
So I guess we can say as a general matter the Platimons get good reviews
NRD is the only outlier and I missed that one
Jay and iiWi and other reviewers have them in their systems and that says a lot to me
I have zero interest in them as I enjoy live cabinets/open baffles and SE tube amplifiers so some sound color is welcome to my ears
I just don’t enjoy clinical sterile music
I was wondering if you were going to or if you had any subwoofers in mind for that stereo pair .. personally I think they're nice but when you're already spending that kind of money, it's like you must cover that 20 to 40 Hz range..or at least reasonable response
down to 27 Hz . Also, I see no reason why a good pair of stands for those speakers should cost 25% of the total .. that's a bit off .. seems like the stand price could easily be cut in half.
There is nothing at this level a pair of RELs can't fix. You'll get a bit more bass, better midrange, and a lot more space.
@@vladimirdorta6692 I agree. There are a few sealed 12" subs that will do the job for stereo. 👍
Rock on!
Or you could DIY like you want them, for cheap..
All of the above haha.
My KEFs are wood, but have a curve to them, which may be to mitigate resonance. Look cooler than a boxes too.
What is your music taste, what genres do you like the most? I may missed that part.
Great review and great speakers. I do own Dynaudio Heritage Speacial speakers on an X5 rotel. Great character setup. I like to try these one day.
thank you, congratz and i think i might be a lil jelly
Great review A+++++
Great review
Good memory trick. I always forget which is which.
OH…OH! Your 🕳️ 🐇 is now to add 👉🏼Platimon Virtual CoAxial Two! 🤭
Your fans deserve this! 👍🏼😀👍🏼 We are waiting……
Glad for you having a new reference speakers.
How would you compare it to Arendale floorstanders by memories?
It's been some time so take this with a pinch of salt. Arendals sound bigger and more forward from my memory, but they can't pinpoint and layer with this precision.. It's like bigger but less precise canvas. They are less coherent across frequency range and ask for you to sit further away for all frequencies to blend nicely - most big speakers do. Highs are very precise but not as smooth, there's a bit of hash and some matching care is needed. Platimons are more natural and smoother there.
@@iiWiReviews Thank you :)
This Platimon is on my short listt along with Mofi Source point 888 @$5K and Cube Audio Qualio @$7K and Triangle at same price.Stand are a bit too expensive IMHO
Yep! 5k is such a tough category
The MoFi 888 look impressive but don't reproduce soundstage height. Check Canada's Audio Excellence review, Adrian has a lot of experience. The new 26-inch stands, while expensive, are the correct ones, the previous 22-inch ones are too low.
Great review as always I am sure it must sound gorgeous
another strike for Dr Joseph D'Appolito What a wonderful concept
And when a concept is very good it can be scaled up and down MTM or WTW
Wery good video. I'm sorry for "wind" speakers but life is go one... 😊
Yes, I put so much time and love into making SW... They should have won. 😭 Damn you MonAcoustic! 😠
OMG, YOU ARE IN LOVE!!!
I wish you could review the Philharnonic BMR or the Revel m126Be, both of which are my favorite speakers of all time. I eagerly want to know your opinion on them before I shell out 6k for these 😅
Can you compare with and without the stands?
Love these speakers (no so much the stands).
AMT does that as demo by Elac speakers.
Hence my selection is always limited - as low level listening is nemesis of so many stand mounts is not even funny (exception to some Focals etc.) This issue plagued every single Buchardt released so far and is present of so many (fake) RUclips champions like KEF r3 (but for different reason, current starving design).
auva under stands? terrific review!
Yes, they're great too. Thanks!
What are these acoustic panels used in back wall? Looks very good.
Sonitus Bigfusors. They are made of styrodur and come in black or white. I bought black and painted them by hand to this color.
They charge a 10% restocking fee 600 bucks if you wanna return them pretty outrageous
This is why he kept them.
It’s a drop in the bucket if I’m paying 6k
It is a rip off, their cost to build it is probably well under 1000usd , they should stand behind it and allow for free test drive !
I want them now
Enjoyed your review. So does this mean the Spirit Winds are going to be put in the wind (sold)?😂
Going back to my other tweeters (Mundorf AMT + SB Acoustics) is no option because suddenly they sound 😴
The journey continues 😊
Hoping for a comparison to the Radiant Clarity 6.2.
Hi, What height are your speaker stands? Are they the standard 22"? Thanks.
Yes, they're 22" and they're just tall enough for me and my laid back sitting. 26" would be a better match for my height (6.2~6.3) if I was sitting upright.
Can you please review the "Pro-Ject MaiA DS3" amplifier. 📌
THX SRBJ 🙏😎💚💚💚
What about placement i dont think you have discussed it. Would they play ok 10-15cm from the wall or they really need some space all around them...
Like most speakers, they perform best about 20 inches from the front wall.
Better than the spirit winds?
Yes, there is a part in the video with that comparison. You can use chapters to find it.
@@iiWiReviews ok thanks I’ll watch the rest of it tonight!
That was a honest review,I thought with the crossover’s you have in the spirit winds they would sound better?! They sure look better!
Enjoy!
I will try the musician, thank you for a recommendation on musician, which track would you recommend to try for the first time?
@newdevilman1167 Excellent. It's actually the first song on that album called Opening. To experience the full depth requires either full range speakers, or stand mounts with a sub. Honestly, it sounds like the orchestra is playing dozens of feet behind the speakers...at least in my system.
To date, I have not had much luck having the same experience using headphones. I have Focal Eligia, but they're not full range enough.
Good luck.
@@Artemis_Prix thx again. This is why I love this hobby. Getting to know more music is so joyful. Have a nice day!!
😂 😂😂😂 love your ending ❤
Yeah, they should make them look better. They do get a lot of good reviews.
Which MTM speaker has the best design in your opinion? All MTMs are ugly... in my opinion, but these are better ones among them. But I do not mind them especially with VC Two. If I can afford VC two one day. 😅
How much for stands? Sorry but no.
You don’t need to buy the stands 😂
Do you want to sale your spirit winds? Would love to own these!!👌
Ever tried speakers from taiwanese manufacturer called Usher Audio?
I haven't but I heard good things about several of their models.
@@iiWiReviews you shud try it. Really good for the money.
Were these speakers designer by Omni Consumer Products (OCP)? Because yiiikes. 😬
As I comment before, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Is that ocp from the robocop?? Cool
$6000 for one speaker? Is it running on liquid gold?
Needs or benefits from a subwoofer?
No real need but subs can always solve some room problems like dips and peaks the way no speaker can handle on its own.
are you able to talk about the stand height? why do you need something higher? is it cuz you are taller?
In the U.S., normal ear height is about 36 inches. The original 22-inch stands were about 4 inches too low, the new ones are OK.
@@iiWiReviews so what's the size are you using now? Is it 26inch?
Nice.
I’ve been at hifi for 45 years…. With my TAD 2404 in my living room… and custom build field coil speakers in my family room.. using all Tamura outputs 45 and EL37 tubes on all my speakers…
BUT.!!! I love all these boutique hifi companies actually extort money for a bullshit little paper cone (6”-8”)drivers at ridiculous cost … and stands at $2200….
What a joke.!!!!
💯
While I understand you have bought them because you like how they sound, I can't understand why you choose a silver edition (instead black) to put in your living room. The lighting will reflect on the speakers and disturb you while watching TV. Putting them into a man cave, then of course color is no problem .
Silver was not my first choice. It was a review sample sent to me... But I ended up liking them in the end. Not much light in the room except ambient ones. I live like a bat with everything dimmed. 🦇😁
Also, speaker have some sort of matt finish that doesn't reflect much. Stands are raw aluminium but they are lower and not a problem.
@@iiWiReviews at Halloween you can rename your channel into Batman reviews it 😄
And if you do, you should review that day a BAT tube amp 😅
great speakers - if you want the co-axial sound but cant swing these I have a fantastic option for you : Presonus Eris Pro 6 ..... amazing little active speakers with 3D holographic sound stage ,,,,,, electrostatic quality vocals and go cleanly down to 35 hz ..... for $ 600 a pair ,,,,, thank me later
lol thats about how much my first car cost when i was 16, seemed like it took me forever to pay that off back then lol
An absolute bargain
Yes indeed, in high-end audio terms. Their sound reminds me of the original Quad ESL 57, but more solid and with bass.
It shouldn’t matter who discovered this flaw if accurate it is what it is. Avoid this version of the speaker. If the YT clip was doctored shame on the one who posted it.

Not a fan of this speakers tweeter only going down to 3khz.....and I guess, I'm not a fan of full MTM speakers either.
Glad you like them though. I like the looks of them.
I think you got it confused. Tweeter crossovers at 3100hz and handles up to 28000hz.
6k for a speaker..Pfff
