As I have tried to express in previous comments on previous videos, watching your videos is more than what ya might say is living vicariously through watching your trucking videos. For one thing, it takes me back to those early years in my life between 1977 and 1981 when I rode with my dad. For another, this also reminds me of the two cross country road trips from Fontana California and Harrisburg Illinois (you delivered at least one skid steer to an equipment rental company on your way to MATS 2023) back in December 2002 and August 2003. I would appreciate it if you know how much you are touching us with these videos when life is hitting you hard like it can with family drama that dominated the last parts of 2023. Although I faced a different set of challenges over the second half of 2023 in coming close to my wife dying at one point, catching up on your trucking videos going back to 2020 made it a lot easier for me to get through these challenges. At this point in 2024, we are waiting for the health insurance paperwork to be processed so that my wife can get the Physical Therapy to learn how to walk on her own power again so that she can come home. The mere words "Thank You" don't do justice to convey the concept that you mean more to people than you might realize.

Hay Steve watch coming int or out of mass.on rt 90 from new York any truck over 80k has a 30 mile detour down the mountain. It’s going to be a couple years there redoing the bridges exit 11-41

I spent many nights at that old Greenland, NH TA truck stop years ago. You're right, Steve, There is very little parking space. Another alternative in close proximity would the Irving Truck Stop in Kittery, Maine (on US Rte 1, Exit 2 off I-95 Maine Tpk). It's much newer and has more parking but it does not have a sit-down restaurant (just take-out). For future reference when you are in our neck of the woods regarding back haul loads: Scott's Lawn Products has a mulch plant in Medway, Maine. They almost always have full truckloads (flatbeds) of pallets with bagged mulch going out to destinations all over the country and always seem to have a shortage of available haulers to take the loads. There are also baled pulp loads from the pulp mills going out to paper mills around the country. I also used to haul full truckloads of Maine lumber to destinations all over the east coast and midwest. If you get up towards Bangor, Maine, you'll want to stop and eat at Dysart's Truck Stop (Exit 180 off of I-95) in Hermon, Maine. Family owned, great service and excellent food.👍👍👍

Have you considered remote control of the external go pros. You could activate one at a time for more extended footage. Also for a new laptop, I would add more internal ssd. It’s cheap and fast.😊

Hi Steve I would have looked into the price too fly either back too Appleton and had your wife or someone pick you up or maybe fly to where one of your sons live on a nice three or four day weekend just a option to consider. maybe you could have talked Tim Gentry into renting a plane and getting some practice time with his instructor like he did a while ago I believe he went to look at a truck somewhere and he ended up buying the truck and driving it home and the instructor flew the plane back
