I really enjoyed this video! But, too short! It's rare case when someone has so much clarity and knowledge. Perfect voice, no theatricals.
The only one who can reproduce remarkably some romanian names. And , wow, he likes pickles and raw onion! Possible, the jews invented the dill
pickles in brine ( the best I have here ,in Vancouver, are from a jewish store) . Smart adventurous guy! I wish the jews were back in Romania!

If you'll find yourself in Braşov, go at the restaurant Gaura Dulce (The Sweet Hole haha) and ask for a dessert called Lapte de Pasăre (Insulă Plutitoare - Île flottante), try it with a cognac by its side. It's quite fabulous!

That is not the dish Mămăligă (which is like a simple Polenta more or less). What you had was or Bulz (kind of) which is Mămăligă with Cheese and eventual some smoked Ham or Pastrami, but usually is prepared like a ball on the some kind of barbecue, or Layered Mămăliga (almost like Lasagna) with layers of Mămăligă with diverse fillings like cheese and smoked meat on the oven.

For a moment I misread the title and thought that he is trying the Mangalica (or Mangalitsa). That would have been interesting to watch. 😉
