cat harpsichord :) beyond the joke it's an excellent performance and a very interesting harpsichord !!!
It's not a joke. The instrument was designed to fit in a car. Hence the name.
@@saggerhead 🤣😭 I know some harpsichordists will specially buy a van for transportation reasons😭
Wonderful job! Very enjoyable. Do you tune it yourself?
Yes, I am a technician.
@@fluffkitten4339 technician and virtuoso....WONDERFUL!
Excellent!
You wanna sell that bad boy?
Who is the builder of this instrument? It’s sounds lovely!!
Thanks! Built by Jack Peters in Seattle, 1999.
will it fit in my Yugo?
It will certainly fit in the Kite Eating Tree
What do you mean by “car”?
The instrument measures about five and a half feet long. The idea by the builder was to build a compact, but large compass, single strung Italian harpsichord. So it fits in almost any car, and has a compass of GG-d3, 56 keys.
I am building one similar. I am reassured that yours sounds so good. Keyboard for child’s hands and fits I her bedroom.
What piece is it?
how long does it hold a tune?
How many octaves does it have?
Was it expensive?
