This question comes up occasionally and I thought it was a really good question which would pertain to a lot of my subscriber base. When deciding to live on or off base in the military it can be tricky and according to your specific situation I would suggest you make a decision based on your specific category situation. As far as the general question of :"It is my 1st duty station and I have a family, should I live on base?" I most always say go for on base housing and here is why.......
