Just began watching. My wife and I have just started our search for a Hatteras and the LRC seem like they match our pace and space requirements. I am going to go back to your 1st video and watch your journey unfold.

Welcome aboard! The journey is everything, but try to avoid getting sick and having your dreams delayed. But "delayed" is the key word because we're not giving us!

I just found your channel a couple days ago and I'm very excited to watch your journey! In my opinion you're on the best boat for Long range travel large enough to be comfortable but not too big to be short crewed!

Welcome aboard! We are excited to have you along for the ride. I'm with you; this is the perfect size boat. It's small enough that we can handle it on our own but large enough to have our space when marital bliss is stressed (usually after docking). Thank you for your comment and watching our videos.

I just found your channel. I've heard so many good things about Baja Naval. Looks like you were equally pleased as well. We have a 2006 53 Navigator in San Diego, and we want to do some Mexican cruising. I look forward to learning from your experience.

We did have very good luck at Baja Naval. Hopefully our trip south will begin this October. We are really looking forward to the trip. Hope to see you out there.

@@cruising5to1 I thought it was pv. But my mistake. We're going to Cabo leaving Oct. 28th-nov.11th I believed they are also going to Cabo. Since they will be hanging with us for 4 days

Oh, you're right. I'm hoping our kids will meet us in PV when we're there so I wad confused. Nothing has changed.

Hatteras has always been what I consider the gold standard for production yachts. Everyone builds boats; Hatteras is one of the few that create yachts.
I do have one small video request... is there any way when you're back in the water, if you could film a brief bit where the camera is mounted inside the boat next to the lower helm facing forward and while in beam seas, turn the stabs off and on to demonstrate their effectiveness? I've seen tons of marketing wank showing this with gyros, but have never found an off/on comparison of a boat with fins. Good luck with the project! :)

That is a great idea! We will definitely do that as I would like to know for myself.
