Glad to see you are doing better!!! Still wondering what the inside of your Hatteras looks like (aside from the engine room). Thanks for the video and stay well. Thanks
Thanks. Unfortunately, the boat has had too much of the "lived-in" look since I returned from the hospital. My wife would kill me if I posted pics of it right now. As I get better and more mobile, the boat will get tidier and cleaner. Once its photogenetic, I'll post a video of the inside and flying bridge. We do love our boat!
You have such great energy and optimism and that’s exactly what you need for a speedy recovery. Give Titos some love for us ❤ hope to see you down here soon!
I'm so sorry to hear you had Valley Fever. As you experienced, VF can hit you about anywhere with symptoms in many forms. It's common in AZ and takes many many forms. As you also experienced, it can be difficult to diagnose. Here's to your treatment and full recovery!
Thank you for your comment. I'm having good days and bad days but I hope on the whole, things are getting better. I'm sure acting like they are and preparing to make our leap this October. If I'm not yet healthy enough, Ensenada isn't the worst place to be stuck.
I just watched this video. Welcome to the exclusive world of valley fever. We are rare indeed. You can PM me if you want to hear about all of it and the recovery time I went threw. Love to hear from you. We’re currently on a 50 foot Lien Hwa (aka Defever ) also in Mexico, also being delayed for our Panama trip.
I have watched your videos ever since Rosy and Jim introduced you on their channel, and I've watched, with some envy, glide through the waters we anticipated cruising not so long ago. I will figure out how to PM you to get your 411 because this GD thing doesn't seem to want to go away. Until then, keep cruising and keep the videos rolling 😎!
glad to see you progressing, hopefully to 100% soon. that's my favorite boat on the planet can't wait to see you guys on the east coast. as your sea venture buddies would say "no wind and flat seas" or something like that.
Thank you so much. It's a slow process but I'm moving in the right direction. We'll be cruising before you know it and some day on the Loop ... we hope. Until then, there's a lot of miles to cover and experiences to enjoy with our family and we would love to share these with you. Welcome aboard!!!
Glad to see that you’re feeling better . It seems that you got lucky that the Doctors were able to find out what was wrong with you . I have severe back problems and I’ve had a procedure, if your discs get fractured , called BMP . That’s short for Bone Morphogenic Protein . In short it’s like spackle for a long bone break. But in this application it’s put on the disc to make it stronger . It doesn’t make the healing faster but alot stronger . Just a thought of an idea for you to look into . Feel well and get well .
Thank you so much! Depending on the damage this infection has created, this procedure may be a possibility; but hopefully I'll just heal up and never worry about it again. Fingers crossed!
You look healthy, man. Glad you're back up and running, or at least mostly. When you dropped off the radar, I'd honestly thought that you had become a victim of the cartel-tourist BS going on down there.
Thanks! We feel very safe here in Ensenada! In our experiences, the cartels are very good shots and only hit what they're aiming for, unlike the Crips and Bloods that empty magazines indiscriminately at buildings and cars. I understand the secret to being safe is to never threaten the cartel's turf, which has been easy for us.
It's better! Did you see where the cartel kidnapped 4 Americans then killed 2 of them? Day before yesterday, the cartel gave up those members responsible by handcuffing them in the streets with a note to the cops. They apologized for those members and asked that the cartel be forgiven. At least that's what I read in the news. I think the cartels are heavily invested in tourism and they try to protect their investments knowing that sooner or later their current illegal acts won't be possible. Just like Prohibition and the many hotels, restaurants and other businesses established during that time. Use illegal money to buy legal businesses and they will survive no matter the political climate (unless Castro comes to power).

Education videos sound pretty good. If you can please put out a video on how to splice our dock lines.
Thanks

Thank you! It's going to take us a little longer to get there but we will make it one way or another.
We stumbled on your videos today. We are wannabe loopers, so we started watching your San Diego vids today until this video came up. Get well sir.

Try an all meat and eggs diet to help reduce Inflamation
I have no plans to becoming a Vegan anytime soon so this sounds great!
If you keep posting, I'll keep watching. Like poker. If I'm in for a dime, I'm in for a dollar.
You're the greatest!!!!

I was right there with you.

@@cruising5to1 So basically it's like certain parts of NYC... mind your own business and always have "I didn't see nothin'" at the tip of your tongue.
