I lived in New Tutu for 4 months. Loved it there. The island really gets in your bones. Hate to see the devistation. I travelled this road every day to go home and to work.
So many places I travelled to or did business with, the consignment store. My daughter's school, the place where one of her teachers lives, all this affected. God bless them
Is the date this footage was taken accurate? This couldnt have been taken November 2017. The island looks way too green for this to have been taken just a week after Irma. The foliage was very brown and dead after irma almost like a wildfire had passed through. I dont think the Seventh day adventist school had a tarp on that quick, and the intersection by the gas station was a mess for a good couple months. There were poles, wires, and flood waters at that intersection. In this video the intersection is completely clean.

JFC! I've LIVED on St Thomas for 4 years, near Tutu, and I'm...bewildered. The scope of this tragedy is horrific!
