They don't seem to get the recognition and following that their music deserves in my opinion, so thanks for showcasing them. Great reaction to Kalandra 🙂 The singer, Katrine Stenbekk is another great female Norwegian vocalist. They have a LOT of great stuff, though personally I think "Grizzly Man" is way up there, even though it's not their own song. (The original is by Rockettothesky) I'll give you the link, in case you wanna check it out, it's a live recording from a concert at SOFAR London( Songs From A Room). I don't know why this performance stands out to me, it just does. I get some strong Irish vibes from it, and it takes me to a special place in my mind. That's what great music does, right ? I just gotta tell you that that one is something REALLY special. It's actually my all time favourite arrangement/performance by and singer/band, regardless of genre. It is CRAZY good. Eivør is Faroese (not sure if I wrote that correctly tbh, but at least she comes from The Faroe Islands 🙂) The clip she gave you is alive performance from The Old Theater in Tòrshavn. Tòrshavn is the capital of The Faroe Islands. I belive she now lives in Denmark. Anyhoot, she is the best vocalist you've never heard. And the arrangement ?? Just WOW!!! In 2022 she won the prize "Best Nordic Act" by MTV Europe Music Awards 🙂 However, she always makes an acoustic version of her songs as well, because her voice can handle it, if you get my drift. If you want to have a taste, go ahead and react to her song "Dynamite". She's being accompanied on piano, and that's all. GREAT performance.
