DG, your boy was blocking like crazy. I would have sent him for a ride after about 3 laps of that. You had the fastest Kart on the track!

He loves the bottom of the track! I can’t say if I thought about doing what’s needed to gain or not, but I will say it cost a podium. I was content with a 3rd and just continued to push the two of us to the front. I thought the leaders would fall off and we would progress. Definitely played it safe, working on the championship!

Just send it in qualifying. The worst that can happen is qualifying last.

We’ve been learning! Gotta give credit to Bubbas karting concepts on the tire prep, That’s been the biggest change.

Correlation doesn't equal causation, unless it happens to 35 million people sometime after 2020.

Was a good race for sure. Just ask Travis what happens when you mess up. He lost the draft and yall ran off and left him 😂

Oh man, you should have half tracked them. You had the fastest kart. You gotta learn to draft. If you would have been tucked in behind kart in front of you pushing him, as fast as your kart was yalld run down leader fast.
Also at the end, the incident you had was your fault. That kart was underneath you. Its better result almost always if you give up the position n tuck back up behind the guy that passed you. It almost always yields the outcome that happened to you. When a Karter in your position tries to battle for the position.
Awesome job. It's not easy getting a kart fast. Looked pretty fast to me.

I didn't like the bottom of the track where the #33 was riding, Killed exit speed in turn 1 & 2. I'll admit I was content with a top 3 finish and didn't want to turn Jackson. In the wreck, he hit me on exit, which sandwiched me between him and 33 killing my speed. Not sure what went on in my head after, I tried to hold on to third. Truth be told If I would have qualified better, I would have likely checked out on the field. Was a good weekend, nevertheless. We have definitely found some speed and continue to compete every weekend, a long way from where we were this time last year. Thanks for the support brother!

@@DegenerateGarage a raced @ a, now closed, track in Tennessee called Beechnut Raceway. It was similar to the track in video. Drafting is HUGE. I've watched races like yours hundreds of times. If the 3 of you had ran nose to tail pushing each other down the straight away (can't push em in the turns). Y'alld caught the leaders FAST with so momentum y'all would freight train the leader. You were clearly faster than the other 2. So I believe you'd won in that scenario. FYI, if you haven't seen this yet. If you see the karter in front of you tap the back of their helmet. This is asking you to draft with them wanting you to push them. It was killing me seeing you waste all that momentum you had coming out of the corners. Lap after lap you went to Jackson's outside coming out of turn, going down straight away. If you instead could have been pushing him or bumping down the straight away yalled been several tenths quicker together. Just gotta have throttle control, kart control to touch kart in front of you square. Just my opinion, no offense or disrespect intended. I love the sport of karting. It's been my life for most my life. Any comments I make on your channel is with good intentions. It's hard to get a kart bad fast, "hooked up". Your kart looked good. Coming out of corners like that, SHEEEZ! You're doing great man. I'm loving your channel. Your partly to blame for me getting itch to go back racing again.
i was late watching video. So i assume you've already worked on your kart at this point. imo id scaled that kart out after that night was over. Document/write down all your scale/setup #s/percentages, castor, camber, stagger etc. as raced. Id run those numbers all the time.

None taken, I enjoy the feed back! Was just putting my prospective, Drew who’s been racing a long time told me about drafting just before the feature, you’re definitely right. Also definitely right about scaling out the kart. She’s been fast all year
