Great video but I think it's important to note that Swarovski does in fact have different colored boxes, one more blue and one more purple. This alone does not indicate it's a fake.
Also the swan on the packaging does varry, I can't upload pictures in the comments, but I have two examples where the same product has different colored boxes with different looking swan logos.
I only buy directly from Swarovski, I am certain my pieces are authentic despite the packaging difference.
I do not see the packaging on these indicating it is a fake. The packaging is different, but both look as authentic as the pieces I have with different packages.
Any knowledgeable Swarovski store manager will tell you that packaging colors can be more blue or more purple.

Hi, I have only ever purchased my ornaments from the Swarovski store, and assume that they are all authentic, the packaging does vary from year to year and perhaps even vary in the same years depending upon the region, ie USA versus European. My 2013 ornament very much aligns with the one you brought online.
I do thank you for the time and effort taken to produce the video and assist with dealing with counterfeit items.

Your fake one looks better than mine. They didn't even bother putting the ribbon on mine! Thanks for this video.

I may be late but I had the same issue in 2017 with Amazon sold by Amazon LLC. I took the box to the official Swarovski store at my nearby mall and compared the two. It had a similar box for 2017 with the foam, insert holder, ribbon, tag but when we shined it through a UV light the fake did not produce a clear shine. Also the box fonts and textures and color were not correct with the real box.

Suki, thank you for sharing. I despise a thief which is exactly what those who are doing this are. I've collected the ornaments for many years and should have known it was just a matter of time before the low life losers started producing fake ones. am looking forward to the day when Karma knocks on their doors.

I have learned the best way to tell is the price sticker on the outer box on the back side. Swarovski puts Made in Austria and the price on the sticker. Without it, I pass everytime.

Did you watch the video? The fake box says right on it, “made in austria”.

You're calling the real one the fake one, kind of confusing.

I bought one off ebay I think is fake the Date tag is gold not silver and it feels like it is lighter and the edges are smooth. The others I have are sharp edges
