The problem is that the hostages are located underground in tunnels,
And in the tunnels there are anti-blast doors,
It takes a lot time and a lot of effort with special tools to dismantle it.
And i guess there are also cameras pointing to those doors.
Even if you know where the hostages are, it's a VERY HIGH risk operation.

There is no way Israel could agree to release of all Palestinian prisoners, many of which are Hamas terrorists. After all Sinwar was a released prisoner and look how that ended up!!!

I support whatever Israel decides but I believe Hamas must be dissolved.
There was no ceasefire on 7 October last year that could be broken, Israel had Gaza under total seige and bombed them on a regular basis, controlled all entry, food, water, power and who could work where.

Completely expected. Israel will not withdraw from Gaza, ever. If Hamas wants to condemn Palestinians to oblivion, well here is how!
Hamas has never honored a ceasefire. There was a ceasefire in place before October 7th and even during that ceasefire Hamas was constantly firing rockets into Israel. All a ceasefire will do is give Hamas time to rearm and regroup and then they will attack Israel again. They have said they will repeat October 7th over and over again. It's one of the few things they say that isn't a lie.
We all desperately want all of the hostages returned but.... lets see!

If they want to re-negotiate the deal … then re-negotiate the whole thing - I’d say: release the hostages NOW … and we’ll go into a ceasefire in 30 days. If you don’t like those terms … then, go back the the original deal offered with no amendments. Release all hostages and we’ll stop the war. But that included the daily incoming rockets as well.

The adults are said to have the Hamas ideology. The ones I care about the children on all sides - Gaza, Israel, Lebanon etc. Israel has a right to defend herself.
