Stellar CARD SHOW DEALS at the Chicago Sports Spectacular! 🤑 March 2024

- In this video, I pick up channel Legend Mike and we head to the last day of the Chicago Sports Spectacular on March 17th, 2024!
I know some other RUclipsrs, including Bronko from @BaseballCardIllustrated, went to the show on Friday, but I was only able to go on Sunday. I have to say that this is one of the larger Sports Spectacular's I have been to. It is cool hearing all of the names of the autograph signers, today had Sammy Sosa and Mike Tyson! Also, now that I am starting to check out the vintage tables, and not just the bargain tables, there are alot more cards to see!
I feel like Mike and I did great scoring some deals at the $0.50 tables! I even picked up 10 base cards I needed for some base sets for only $1! Probably the best table was the $0.50 table that had all of the cards in top loaders! Very easy to go through a ton of rows of cards quickly! I was able to make some progress on my Topps Chrome insert sets as well as pick up some vintage Hall of Famers like Al Kaline and Ron Santo for my vintage collection. I also grew our PC's by picking up a few Darryl Strawberry's, Kris Bryant's and an awesome "The Natural" Ken Griffey Jr!

Spectacular picking in Chicago! Looked like a fun show. Some of the people I talked to at the Dallas Show on Friday, were going to Chicago on Saturday.
Thanks for sharing! Love the Kaline adds. Fave was the ‘68 topps game card of Santo. These are a great way to get into vintage inexpensively. Many of the player images are on previous base cards. For example Clemente is his ‘67 topps pose. Mantle is his ‘62 topps image.
Awesome pickups from the show! I haven't been to the Chicago Sports Spectacular, but Ive heard great things and the b-roll looked like there was a lot of great vintage. Awesome 65 Ron Santo, thats one of my favorite sets also. Love all the Kaline pickups!

$42 of fun Doug! For some reason it’s satisfying to ME seeing YOUR progress on the insert sets, and a relief when it isn’t a double. OCD is real man! Love that Blue Kaline, but love that your running gimmick is sliding Bonds cards into Mike’s stack. I hope he slid in some Shane Macks into yours.

I was bummed I was out of town this last weekend would have loved to get to the show. Some great pick-ups, my favorites would have to be the two Ron Santo cards, love both the game cards and the 65 set!
