      Also not the exact story Eric wasn’t mad at Jimi he just didn’t expect him to be so good he was more intimidated according to the guy who was there and told the story on some documentary.

    I have a Jimi Hendrix autobiography and the ONE part I wanted to read about the most besides his interactions with the Who and the Beatles, was his interactions with Eric Clapton. Unfortunately, all he really says is that he jammed with them and they were cool. That's it.

    Heard there was a lot of stuff in this movie that nvr happen. Like Clapton wasnt a jerk and Jimi never abused his gf (She said in an interview). Anyways hate the movie, but love the solo.

    I don't like the way they portrayed claptom as some douche. he was of course blown away by Hendrix but was never condescending to him like that

    • @plasticbudgie
      @plasticbudgie 6 лет назад +2

      adds to the movie character loyalty, it's so you take Jimi's side and want him to show eric up.

    • @NemohHoes
      @NemohHoes 6 лет назад +16

      attituderoyale No. It's true. It's well known and admitted by Eric that his life crashed after Jimi showed up. The biggest slam to his ego, which was huge at the time. I love Eric but everyone knows he has always had a big desire of being the best. To this day and he'd easely say that it's so

    • @BeatlesOasisFan
      @BeatlesOasisFan 6 лет назад +4

      @attituderoyale And how do you know that exactly? You were there by chance? Also Clapton later stole George Harrison's wife so I think he might be a douche after all.

    • @TheDiamondsions

    What they got wrong is the fact about eric not knowing mannish boy. He definitely knows it by heart but cant seem to play so hendrix popped in ended up playing it for him

    hate how this scene portrays clapton. clapton has said nothing but amazing things about jimi and how much his playing was influenced by jimi. clapton even got him a left handed guitar, saying it was the first one he had seen and immediately thought about jimi.

    I'd like to think that there was a directors cut of this film out there somewhere but seeing is that this film pretty much butchered Jimi's experience's in london, I'd rather see a "remake" of this film done properly,even without the abusive parts

      Its in B. Play B triplets on the 7th fret low E string with your thumb and then double stops on the ninth fret G and B strings going to seventh fret double stops on the G and B strings. Then the low E triplets again , but then play 5th fret A string to the E octave (9th fret D string)
