If the pcr test for covid19 is very sensible, in every 100 people we can make groups of 10 people and mix 10 samples of every group and test it, if there is 1 positive group we can test that group and we will find a positive with 20 tests instead of 100. The prevalence is low, it can work, you only need more samples.

Does current testing identify the specific "Covid-19" antigen itself, or does it just identify "viral RNA Genetic material", or does it just identify the "corona virus family" ?
Its a genetic common marker of any corona virus and since Corona viruses are 35% of all known common cold ones congratulations! Your one of the over 90% false positives.
Hi. Thank you for sharing this. I was wondering. Would it be possible to use this test on samples from several people at the same time? If you could mix the swabs from an entire community and do a single test, if the test is negative, it would help you to save tests but not having to test each individual. You would do individual test only where the community test would be positive. Do you think this is possible? Thank you
I've heard that at large amplification rates the risk of false positives is greatly increased but with such high infection rates and the availability of tests, pooling samples isn't of much use these days.
If its positive its shows the DNA band in agarose gel electrophesris and its should not show in negative control and its show in positive control.PCR can amplify the specific DNA using the COV9 specific primers(short nucleotides). This will happen after synthesize the CDNA from RNA.Another alternative is that use RT PCR(Real time) to check the particular RNA or DNA present in the sample by suing fluorescent tagged primers(probes).if its positive its shows the intense fluorescent signal with positive control and no signal or mild signal can be seen in negative control

@@myskinshorts867 thanks for responding. I watched a video of Dr. Andrew Kaufman where he says that the pcr test for cov19 are showing false positives because of the exosomes present in sick people who are being tested. It's only for research purposes... Not for diagnosis .. I heard that it's inaccurate for diagnosis .. n it's illegal to diagnos and treatment according to RTPCR
RTPCR would help detect viral RNA thus proving presence of SARS-Cov-v2. You probably need additional antibody test to assess the patients immune response to the virus. The challenge we are having now is that every product developer is in a rush and kits may miss adequate quality control and assessment of diagnostic accuracy. probably this kit from Boditech isn't approved yet for diagnostic use.

PCR detects the genetic material.
Should be sars cov 2 specific. Otherwise it is stupidly useless

Hi can I know if there is any preparing before began the test ?
If possible i want the threshold number that read coivd-2
And the device gave me ND can i know what that mean
Why you added resuspension buffer in the positive control only? Can you explain the use of positive and negative control?
Controls are run to compare the test wheather It's positive or negative. If we run with controls means we can get the report accuracy
Positive control is just water haha so no need for resuspension buffer
If you run a test and either of your positive or negative controls fails then your results are not accurate
why you are keeping the pipette horizontally while doing,,,it must be vertica ,,hope the technician is very new

It’s hard to pool large amounts of samples and still get accurate results. You would most likely get a false negative
