Very true. I have a friend though who is American but speaks Korean. He had some Korean ladies come to his store to buy some products. They were talking and he asked them what they were doing and they said they were going on a trip. He was speaking to them in English the whole time. Then he asked where they were going, and they said "Oh, you know... China...". Anyhow, he kept going with the sale and near the end he spoke to them in Korean and their eyes got wide and the one lady all of a sudden said something to the effect of him being smart. They weren't going to China... they were just saying that. It can go both ways.

He came to Hawaii and had to learn English while going to mechanics school. He is very affordable, a fraction of what local shops would charge and saves me money, (no unnecessary charges). He is also generous, he shares his recycled bottles with homeless people. I can’t imagine going to a foreign country (Vietnam) to start a new life with his wife and 2 kids. He works hard and takes advantage of what America has to offer that Vietnam couldn’t. His son will take over the business, he has the same values. He also overcame liver cancer by intense meditation, instead of chemo or radiation, (according to the American medical journals causes cancer). USA medicine is a money maker, the negative side of capitalism.
