I mean it’s hard lethal weapon have balance with sadness and action and comedy it’s underrated! Rush hour and Bad boys is more famous and more talked about till this day! But bad boys I think is the best franchise overall but at duo and dark comedy side I enjoy more Rush hour the natural chemistry is unreal 🔥 it’s sad that Jackie is old that is the reason maybe why they don’t make one more like bad boys cuz Jackie like to make his own dangerous stunts

I can see the series continuing with Lowery's son and Burnett's son-n-law teaming up. Will it actually happen? Who knows. I enjoyed all of the Bad Boys films. I lost interest in the Fast & Furious franchise after losing Paul Walker.

I'm hyped for this movie. Especially since I've heard good things. I will say this trailer isn't better than the first trailer but you can clearly tell they're keeping a lot close to the vest, because they're not showing a whole lot at all.
i get what u saying but then it becomes a Will Smith only movie, lol. he already getting too many checks and the biggest movie star of many great movies so while that would probably be a more impactful scenario to take out Marcus, it would come across weird because Martin would stop getting paid in real life and Will would be increasing his already massive wealth so their real life situation in a way hurts what the story should be. if they do that, it would have ot be the last movie, wont make sense for Will to do more movies without his side kick
I do think it would be cool to see Mike be that hardened and grittier cop. Maybe in the next one they go darker. But to the point of having multiple sequels already, I don't think it would've been necessary and could've gone the Beverly Hills Cop 3 or Die Hard 4? route... The fact that 3 is the box office and critical peak of the franchise means the timing worked out perfectly. And I think 3 is smart in bringing in Mike's son who's the opposite of Mike but not in the corny, nerdy opposite of Mike where the son tries to be a cop but can't live up to his father bullshit lmao. And I'm curious to see how the son gets used here. But 4 is looking to be the best one, so I'd say there's still plenty of chances to go the darker/grittier route (pretty much the OG films but more aggressive) if they want to. I'd like to see that.

It so funny and strange how Bad Boys I guess Franchise is trying to follow the Fast and the Furious Sega franchise but when everyone in the world 🌍 not that many of them that was saying it but about we wanted Bad Boys 3 but it took way to long to have Bad Boys 3 until we got it in 2020 the Covid-19 Era being honest on that one but yeah I mean I might go see it just to see how well it goes but Bad Boys movie 🎥 franchise is not done they may be doing a fast and the furious movement right now writing the new Sega of Bad Boys 5

Guy in the white pants sounds like a real hater. Seriously. Bad Boys has always been Marcus and Mike. Without Marcus, there is no Bad Boys. You're doing wayyyy too much. If you don't like the story, don't watch the movie. You're not being forced to go to the theater.

I feel Jei on the franchise going left. Bad Boys 3 is my least favourite one and it’s bc of where they went w it.
Funnily enough, while studying media studies in school(in 2013) I had written a spec script for Bad Boys 3 and it would’ve dealt with Mike and his past and while investigating a weapon’s trafficker, we’d find out that he came from a foster home and that this guy that he was once brothers with was actually this bad guy they were now after( a bit like Lee and Kenji in Rush Hour 3).. Mike would’ve left the home going to police academy and his ‘brother’ would’ve gone to a darker path led by their ‘father’ but also Mike in that script was settled down with Marcus’ sister and she was about to tell him she was pregnant before she gets killed. This would’ve seen Mike and Marcus both turn to the darkest they’d ever been.
Sounds pretty interesting. I would like to see the Bad Boys go darker... even though would pretty much deviate from what we know them for, but I think they could make it work because the first two were gritty and did lean a little towards the dark aspect. I'd love to see them go on a revenge streak in the next one.
I've been a 'Bad Boys' fan since Spring Break '95. DAY ONE. But I have NEVER cringed so hard in my life as soon as I heard "Good men, Good men whatcha gonna do?" from the third film. That's when I knew that the franchise was in peril. F&F style.
