Ivory-billed Woodpecker: Proof of Persistence in Louisiana

Discussion of conclusive evidence for the persistence of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker in Louisiana. The 2006 video shows a woodpecker that is larger than any Pileated Woodpecker. The 2008 video shows a large woodpecker with a flap rate that is ten standard deviations greater than the mean flap rate of the Pileated Woodpecker. Both of the videos show several characteristics that are consistent with the Ivory-billed Woodpecker but not the Pileated Woodpecker.
