Interesting. Many reviewers complain that the subwoofer is boomy, and the Atmos dialog muddy during action scenes.

I also have the SL10YG, imo all LG’s subs are below average. I have mines tuned pretty to my liking and don’t really notice that ‘boomy’ sound. When you watch Godzilla vs. Kong, you’ll notice how poor these subs are though. I wish they would provide a sub-out port. For this price point it’s the crappiest subwoofer out there.

I don't find the dialogue muddy but some scenes in atmos lack punch compared to the DTS counterpart some scene's are fully engrossing then others where you know it should have some punch it falls flat like the scene in IT in the bathroom whereas the same scene in DTS is very crisp the Atmos version feels flat and lacking but other scenes from other Atmos track's sound amazing so it's random and it's possible anyone with muddy centre speaker issues have used the room calibration I did originally but it robbed the system too much in certain areas ie bass production and bass is a little boomy in certain soundtracks but quite fine if you adjust the subwoofer mostly it's very good and I've also noticed as it's broken in its less prone to boom

For the money I'd rather go for the SAMSUNG Q95T from 2020. Clearest Dialogue, great sound separation/travel, convincing Atmos/DTS-X Bubble and great sub. And 2021 price drop.
