Preparing for the spring/Daily life of a couple with two cats/how to make Japanese pizza toast

- Even though winter in Paris is normally quite long, it’s getting warmer these days and we can feel that spring is just around the corner. In this video, I would like to show you our daily life with my two cats, preparing for the spring.
Speaking of spring, there is a famous advertising campaign by the bread maker in Japan t and because of that campaign, we feel like eating bread somehow in spring. As my husband hasn't been back to Japan last year, he said he wants to try some Japanese bread. So I bought a loaf of tasty bread from Carré Pain de Mie, a bread shop opened in Paris by the famous Japanese bakery. Then I made the "Pizza Toast with egg salad" which is a popular menu from a Coffee Shop in Japan to enjoy the taste of a Japanese coffee shop at home.
We've also changed the interior of our home, and planted plants and sowed seeds to make it feel like spring.
I hope this video of my preparations for spring will be of some help to you in your daily life.
Generous egg salad pizza toast
Ingredients (for 2 persons)
4 slices of bread (2 slices thin, 2 slices thick would be best)
Egg paste
・4 eggs
・3 tbsp mayonnaise
・Salt and pepper to taste
Pizza sauce
・3 tbsp tomato ketchup
・1/2 tbsp mayonnaise
・1 tsp mustard
・1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
・1 teaspoon garlic tube
・A pinch of dried basil (if available)
4 small tomatoes
1 mushroom
4 slices salami
1/8 of an onion
1/2 of a green pepper
60g melted cheese
Hachis parmentier
Ingredients (for 4 portions / 1 27cm x 17cm baking dish)
Potato purée
・3 potatoes (about 700g)
・150ml milk
・20g butter
・1 1/2 teaspoons salt
・A pinch of pepper
Fried minced meat
・30g butter
・2 large garlic cloves
・1 1/2 large onions (about 300-400g)
・1 small carrot (about 70-100g)
・350g minced beef
・1 tbsp white wine
・3 tbsp tomato ketchup
・A pinch of nutmeg powder (if available)
・1 1/2 teaspoons salt
・A pinch of pepper
Melted cheese (I recommend Comte if you have it!) 100g

What a nice husband. He brings her things from the markets, draws out her laugh and conversation. Appreciates and affirms her efforts for the decorations. Enjoys the food she prepares for them. Part of the art is just that he is a nice person who is thoughtful. Please don’t worry about calories in Japanese pizza toast. That is a western anxiety and we live too short to worry about anything like that in lockdown. Just enjoy the kindness of the friendly pizza toast trying to bring some joy during the harsh pandemic. Doesn’t this make sense?

Que bom participar dessa preparação para "Primavera" e ver que apesar das mudanças climáticas as estações aí no hemisfério norte ainda são bem definidas. Aqui (Rio de Janeiro - Brasil) na folhinha é "outono, mas o calor do verão ainda é muito intenso, o que já começa à cansar. Nesse momento, estamos com maiores restrições, pois a pandemia e a vacinação lenta, estão nos impedindo de ficar fora de casa...(os que podem). Adorei a maravilha que está a sua Hera e a decoração primaveril em torno do armário/cristaleira. Tudo que você cozinhou hoje, hummmm, que delícia e seu marido parece rsrsrs, que adorou o prato francês, purê com carne moída, pois pelo que observei, serviu-se várias vezes. Beijos, bom fim de semana e beijinhos nos 2 adoráveis gatos.
