I've been researching the Chanel Les Beiges Creme Bronzer because I planned to purchase it in France on a recent trip. I'm so happy I made the purchase. I'm a Chanel makeup fan but I feel that Tilbury is both overpriced and the quality isn't the best. I did purchase the Chanel in 390. I'm cool-toned and this is perfection. I'm using it as a cream eye shadow, bronzer AND lip color. It's so versatile--especially since I was on vacation and didn't want to lug a ton of makeup with me. Nice video.

Hi Jen - I like the idea of the CT not containing coconut oil so will look into her paler bronzer. In the video I actually preferred the colour of the Chanel on you Vs. CT. It kind of reminds me of a video you did yonks ago comparing the Chantecaille Goa powder bronzer and the Gucci powder bronzer. I think the redder tone looks more natural on you and I loved the Goa on you - it actually influenced me to buy the Goa myself (which I still love BTW). But texture and longevity count for so much so I can understand why you prefer the C.T. What a great video - found it to be super helpful - thank you 😍

Let us know how you find it? The Les Beiges is such an iconic bronzer I've always been curious about it. I nearly bought it years ago but plumped for the Hourglass Sunset palette bc it also had blush and a lovely highlighter but I always wondered if I made the right choice!
Love the CT bronzer. Looks so natural. The Chanel has co coconut oil in it thus the higher shine. I can't wear it because of the coconut oil. Which CT lip do you have on because I didn't see it in the description box. Your eyes looked beautiful todayq.

The CT bronzers are too cool toned for me, so no way. I think the Chanel cream bronzer in medium would work for me. Haven’t tried that one yet, but color looks good for my skintone. The 290 is way too light, the deep Chanel shade, isn’t good for me either color is also off, and not a good match for my skintone. I have really dry skin, even though I live near the beach in south Florida.
Oh South Florida is beautiful! I have dry skin too, but the humidity has been CRAZY! I am thinking of trying the Nars - there's bee a few who have said I need to try that new bronzer! There's just so many out there!
I just tried the Chanel medium shade in 392 at Nordstrom...it's worth checking out. I also noticed that 392 looked much richer in person than in RUclips videos, where they're under a lot of bright lights and 392 looked practically the same as 390.
Jen,my dear😂..😊on first and second attempt with the CT cream bronzer i hated the "harder/moussier" texture...i was not used to this kind of clay like texture and thought, it's unblendable...now i tried it for the third time and also re-tried the Chanel one in comparison..you know,i looove Chanel...but in this direct battle i noticed once again,that the Chanel one fades veeery quickly and is veeery slippery...in contrast the CT is beautiful when blended and stays in place all day!!!So,i have to agree..CT for the win!!!❤😊xoxo, Steffi
I totally agree, Jen, and i am kind of happy, that Chanel has coconut oil in it, otherwise, as Chanel brand lover, i might be bias, and choose Chanel. But it has coconut its more oily, so for me was no brainer CT in medium. Love it i use just to warm up the face, and layer with Les Beiges oversized one in medium . Love that CT is more neutral, and Chanel powder one is more warm. Works so beautifully , and just enough glow, especially, in my SF humidity 😜 If i want little more glow, i use Les beiges fluid in ivory, on some places, and i wear with OG fresh water tint, all go well together It looks so natural Have a blessed day🙏🧡

I’ve seen far too many women using bronzer in their jawline and nose as contour which is dumb and also seen women using products ‘to bronze’ whose shade is too cool to be a bronzer. I figure most women don’t know bronzer is, just the Romance languages word for tan, it’s supposed to mimic sunburn. You don’t get sunburned under your cheekbones or under your jaw
Buy that Nars! :) That is so strange. I just did a video and swatches the Chanel and to me it looks much more orange. It did not look like your swatch here. Maybe my color balance is off. ? Okay, after watching your whole review, I would pick the CT over the Chanel and I love Chanel! But I am happy with the NARS Laguna 01 right now. It is so creamy and blends well, probably like the CT.
I am watching this video in August of 2024 and now both of the Chanel and CT bronzers are almost the same price. the Chanel one is $60 and the CT is $58 so not a big difference. I really want to buy the CT to try it and see how it looks on my skin, I have been using the Chanel one and it's super pretty can't really complain.
