Praying you stay safe and for all those affected by this hurricane. Admirable goal to create so many useful items to donate. Way to go using up that yarn!! Love the turquoise pink set of course!!
I'm glad you're staying safe thus far. I'm sure you're keeping a close eye on everything in that regard. I hope the crafting is helping you manage any stress and anxiety during this time. Take care.
Ok. This is super inspiring!!! My husband even said I should jump on the bandwagon. I might just do that for the 1st of the year…after all the Christmas and holiday presents are finished!!! I could bust out some serious donation blankets and detach some stuff!!!
I made a small donation of 86 hats, for a local cancer house a few years ago. My goal was to make as many as I could with all the ends. Went though a lot. I knitted and crocheted them. I had makes in front room, kitchen table, bedroom and a few in car. So I didn’t have to find the one I was working on, I’d just worked what was nearer to me. Plus I had a 40 plus hr work week too. Had like 2 months to do.❤😊
I’m watching this with interest, as I have the same goal! I really want to use up my acrylic yarn, so I’m hoping to get some good ideas (and entertainment) from your videos!
My thoughts with everyone dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. It is horrifying to watch the updates. This challenge is helping me use up my box of yarn designated for blankets. All crocheted - currently on my second Nature's Walk. This one will have black as the joining and border colour. I estimate close to 30 ball bands with both! Yeah. More than 30 days but 30 less ball bands in a year is happiness.
YAY!!! This storm was so bad in strange places!! 😕 My aunt and cousins in Asheville are stranded... I am getting limited info about them because the cell towers are down.
Glad yall okay in lakewylie 30mins where u use to live we sill don't have power cellphone just got up . We safe just waiting on the power. Love you girl keep everything good.

How many pairs of socks did you make in total. Can't get those pineapple ones out of my mind❤ you convinced me to try crocheting a pair. I will share but right now I'm making Boggy Creek blankets.

I love storms, so for me there is anxiety, but really the worst part was being worried for the family and friends.
Bravo 👏… a lot of beautiful, warm makes… 🧶👍
Thank you very much! I was surprised!
I’m loving how much yarn you used in such a short time frame Carrie!🧶💜
I am surprised how much i have gotten through!!
Wow 25 is Huge!
Great job can't wait to see how far you get!
Me too! I am having a blast with it!
That’s a lot of yarn! Great job!
Thank you! 😊
You are really cranking out those hats and scarves! Great job! Fingers crossed that the storm moves on from your area and the dam doesn't break!
It was stressful, but so far we are doing well in our corner. I am worried with so many out of power and the flooding West of here is horrible.
You are incredible. Be safe and dry.
Thank you!

You can do it! It is a lot of fun but does take some real dedication to intention...

I hope that I am meeting your expectations! I am thinking about doing something similar next year with more variety.
@@HappyCraftyHomemaker you are exceeding my expectations! I am thoroughly enjoying these videos! They have given me some great ideas.
Praying for the safety of you, your family and state.
My aunt and cousins are in a bad way in Asheville. Please keep them in mind!

I'm guessing in 100 ball bands. Your off to a great start with 25. Glad your ok in the storm.
I would love to end with at least 100 ball bands!!
Wow! Impressive. Would love to get an Addi.
There are massive pros and cons to be honest. After this i need to sit down and make a video talking about them.

I am so sorry! It was awful everywhere around us! Huge parts of Lexington and Richland counties had no power for 5 days.

I am not sure how many I finished. I still have 2 on the needles to finish before the year end.
