My computer is having some issues so new stuff recorded from the recent TF2 patch (i was working on market garden with base jumper) may have to wait some time for me to solve the problems or just get the new computer I meant to get months ago.

I feel the same. I miss those simpler times, jerma and star TF2 content while I was going through highschool without a care in the world.
Damn. I feel your pain. If you're struggling with depression like I was for a while, try exercise, NoFap, and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone if you can. These things helped me tremedously - although I am still a work in progress. Sorry for giving unsolicited advice. :)

They're literally played against fresh installers. A guy with thousands of hours in game and good aim could destroy a fresh installer how unbalanced valve please nerf.

Well, if you're the type that gets slightly disoriented by the zoom having no scope might actually be easier.
It's also faster without a scope anyway.

I see a lot of people asking in the comments "How can Star be this good?" and the like.
I'm going to use this to give you a intro to basic aiming theory.
Aiming, in any videogame, comes down to a combination of three factors.
First, there's prediction. To be able to hit shots, you need to be able to know where the enemy is going to be a short time in the future. This is probably the hardest bit to get right, since it's a matter of gamesense; you have to play the game, know where people will go, what dodging patterns people use, and the like.
The second is mouse movement. Once you've predicted where you think the target (in this video, a person's head) is going to go, you've got to move your mouse such that the crosshair is in the path of it. You can do this slowly at first, and as you'll get better, you'll be able to flick your mouse to where you think they're going to be. This takes practice; it won't come in an hour.
The third is sort of prediction, but it's timing. You need to know when to hit M1 so that the shot will hit. With a hitscan weapon in this video, it's basically as soon as (or actually very slightly before) you see the head under your crosshair, or when you predict it will be.
This video is actually really good because it illustrates these principles really well. When Star headshots the jumping soldier, he predicts where the soldier is going to be in mid-air (1), moves his mouse there (2) and times his mouse click so that he hits the headshot (3).
These three principles are the same for every shot, with every weapon. Hitting projectile weapons well, like rockets or pills, is exactly the same- you predict where they're going to be, move your mouse to where you think that is, and then press M1 such that the projectile will hit when they're there. Doesn't matter if it's just a shot on the ground, or an amazing flick airshot; the principles are the same.
I hope this helps some of you who are struggling with aiming.

+Snowbot Chicken I know this is a slightly old comment, but that is a common glitch where ragdolls of those who got headshot by a sniper will sometimes flicker across the map. I have had some people do the headshot animation almost at the ceiling of Turbine, so.
The caution zone is that intense moment when players get so paranoid that all they can think about is "HOLY SHIT WHERE ARE THE AMBASSADOR SPYS"

It's weird because I'm better at sniping than STAR, but I can't even hit a stationary target with the Ambassador XD
For me its the opposite, I can sometimes murder people with the Ambassador, but I can never EVER HS someone with the sniper rifle.

Well, the Ambassador lets you move around freely and does not require you to zoom to headshot, in fact, you can't zoom at all.
The Sniper Rifle, on the other hand, makes you move slow and requires you to zoom to headshot.
Basically, it's easier to headshot with the Sniper Rifle, but that's what the sniper is supposed to do.

There's a frame, around 1:28, where a sniper bowman shot a pyro SO HARD, he teleported for a single frame into Star's view. I actually had to pause the video and move frame-by-frame to figure out what had happened. Kudos to that guy tho.

I swear if i use the ambi my cursor can be right over their head and it'll miss, star will be ever so slightly to the left, right, above or below and it'll count. This is why I use the stock.

@xen 🏳️🌈⃠ Ok how is that overpowered though, for starters the gun has no zoom and does significantly less headshot damage than the sniper rifle, and also has to reload after 6 shots. Plus it only headshots at full accuracy so the gun can't be spammed. Critical Hits aren't supposed to have fall-off the ambassador is literally the only gun with crit fall of damage WHY???!!!
@@jrburger95 unlike sniper, spy can cloak, feigh his death and disguise to be anywhere on the map. Biggest problem with sniper is small amount of counter play and interaction, and spy with old amby had even less counter. Watch "in defense of ambassador" for full better explanation.
@@TF-Boom load of crap, even when we had the old ambassador spy was still considered the weakest class in the game. If what you're saying is true then he would have been the strongest since everyone right now is saying sniper is the strongest.

I have a low resolution level when I watch videos, to prevent my bandwidth from being throttled, so it definitely looked like they were spamming head shots. I turn on medium resolution, and I'll be damned. You really are that accurate.

It's all in your sensitivity settings and being able to COMPLETELY remove mouse acceleration from the operating system. Tribes players have been pulling off much more amazing shots than this for as long as TF1 was around.

@@DoctorChained Valve changed it so the weapon has damage drop off just like every other hitscan weapon (excluding sniper rifles obviously). So basically it has the effective range of every other revolver now. It can still headshot, but not from long distance anymore.
Valve said this was never an intended feature but a bug they were too lazy to fix until now.

When I used the Classic sniper, it's VERY similar to the Ambassodor. Which explains why crafting it requires a Huntsman and Bazaar Bargain, I think
