    Thank you very much! my late father had this grill in his backyard and due to his sickness left it in a pretty dirty state this last season. I'm pumped to get it cleaned up and to use it to its fullest potential!

    Great background,I put aluminum foil shield on metal plate for easy cleanup👍

      I tried that, but the foil stuck to the deflector plate and made the clean up even harder.

      @@SmokedMidwestBBQ the plate has to be grease free after that its smooth sailing I've done it trouble free👌

    I clean mine after every cook before the cover goes back on. I don’t want to clean it before I’m busy enough prepping the meat. I even take that thin aluminum tray out and clean under it. Could be grease down there and def more ash down below it

    If you coat it with baking soda and let sit for 20/30 minutes it scraps right off like a dream

    That’s about exactly how I clean mine, too. I clean it before every cook so I just scrape off the burnt grease while the deflector is still inside, and vacuum that before I remove it.

    Please use a dedicated (lapel) mic. Good video but sound could be better
