Went on Sunday, the show is leaning more and more each year towards the upper middle to high end gear looking for a market, I had to laugh when the man doing the Linn demo using their room correction system said the system was set up for the temperature the room would be in a couple of hrs time and my son whispered so it could sound bad now and would you have to do a reset as the temperature changes in the room, I think room correction is welcome but lets not go over the top.
Hi, I live in the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad and would like to ask your help in choosing a pair of speakers. There are no HiFi shops on the island to audition anything. Two speakers that come to mind are ProAC's D20RS or D30RS and Revival Atalante 5. Could you kindly help in your thoughts on either of these for Prog Rock, Jazz, some rock, etc? I am also open to any other suggestion that you might have. Thanks in advance.
both of these floor standing speakers are great and would even be suitable for your style of music . last week I was just listened to the Proac bookshelfs speakers from this series in the store along with the amplifier I have, i.e. Uniti nova from Naim , They sounded pretty good, but they lacked a bit of low end, so I think you'd get it from these floorstanders.very nice And the inexpensive speakers that I listened to and are really suitable for Rock can be, for example, Mission 770. nice bass and a very low, very nice soprano, but a smaller amount than ProAc , It's hard to say what would satisfy you because I don't know what you would want to pair it with

It's really hard for me to say anything because I certainly haven't heard this amp with these speakers and I don't know it much at all
