@@HotChocolate2070 yer not a bright one eh? We don't know its gender non its pronouns, so we currently use they or it. I don't care if the creator revesled it somewhere, I haven't seen it and I don't know it.

My theory for what his backstory might be is that maybe he's a representation/embodiment of time? Like with the burning scriptures, the fact that he walks without looking back, etc; maybe he's a personification of time itself, and how it will eventually burn down all records and leave everyone behind even if they reach out to him (like they do in the animation) and try to get him to stop, because time doesn't ever slow down, yk? Just a thought, haha :) Anyways, lovely animation and art!! You've really improved a lot!!

It's been a week since I started having an existential crisis 'cause of this animation (that' s actually a masterpiece) and your commentary that's me feel bad about all the memories I loose about all my old friends, my childhood friends... But you know what? Thank you, thank you for opening my eyes about the waste I was making and I was about to make. The time is precious, a lot more when you're with people you love. You can be proud, 'cause you change a whole life.

tbh i feel like this guy's backstory is either:
- him trying to run away from his past and the past/memories are coming back to haunt him, or
- he had done something awful (hence the getting rid of evidence) and it's nagging on him... or both-
either way, nice remake mdude!
Oh I find the second part very interesting! It does seem like these things are nagging them in some way. For the burning book thing, if it to be them getting rid of evidence that would possibly be one explanation for that part. While watching this I believed this character may be perhaps the embodiment of time or something like that and all those behind them have run out of time and is looking for more in whatever way they can. They just kept moving forward and never looked back since time never stops.
My guess is he caused an accident that killed a lot of people, and he burned the police report so he wouldn't get in trouble, but now the souls of the people who died are trying to drag him down with them.

I have a theory: so this guy represents time and how people die over time and eventually it catches up to him because he did nothing about it, and all the dead souls eventually capture him or something...also, about the shadow man shredding up his papers and reaching his hand out when the clock man was falling, I'm guessing that has something to do with some previous crimes that the shadow man covered up in exchange for the clock man to do his will or something.

I love item head characters because most people Gove the headna slight or very noticeable Bob when they walk and o just love that idk why
the needle has to be on the vinyl disc befor static can be heard. just a small detail of note.
if you dont know why this is the case, the needle reads the grooves and bumps in the vinyl disc much like a music box that you wind up. so audio is only heard when you apply the needle to the disk.
