why should they ? They Are happy doing what they're doing. They don't owe fans anything.

Sounds all too familiar with the majority of the over the hill bands still grinding away. So much bad blood in the rock and roll universe. Not sure why people fork out an entire paycheck to see a half assed tribute band these days anyway.

To see a Grand Funk Railroad tribute band and not be aware that the lead singer/guitarist isn’t Mark Farner you have to be thick as two bricks.

Another really cool interview with Mark. Every time I see one of these,
I gain more respect and admiration for him and GFR. He's very engaging to listen to. Look forward to the whole video.

I'm a hardcore GFR fan since day one. If Mark was allowed (that's almost funny but also sad) to join Grand Junk Railroad (which is always his band), it would knock the Junk out and become Grand Funk Railroad once again, the way it ought to be.

Most "fans" wouldn't know a member of their alleged favorite bands if they came up and introduced themselves. These are the same people who think Led Zeppelin is a person (I love his albums!)

I love Mark Farner! I’m torn over who gets to use the GFR name. Agreed that it should only be the three original members, but I don’t begrudge any of them for continuing to play the music. Maybe just not as GFR. ✌️☮️

ditto with Fleetwood Mac Paul McCartney Chicago Journey, etc and tribute bands with what is left of our era. Fading fast as we know. How do you have Journey without Steve Perry or Chicago without Peter Cetera or the Eagles with no Glen Frey. Like Mark says: casual fans don't know or are too old to care.

Mark is a great musician, but that hat is on prominent display. Even Zappa would piss on the Gadsden flag
