For me, the GOAT in terms of bringing in compliments from women is still Calvin Klein Obsession. I wore it a few days ago for the first time in awhile and got several compliments.
Its kind of a bummer that my most complimented scents arent the ones i enjoy the most. Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue Intense garned me soooooo many compliments even though for me its not a scent I would frequently like to wear. But I have yet to get compliments on Silver Mountain Water or Millesime Imperial and those are sooo amazing. Amouage Reflection is probably my most complimented fragrance that I love as much as those around me love it :)

It was late in the day and a client drew close to me to sign a document. Then she looked up and said, "Oh I love your cologne!" It was D & G's The One EDT.

One thing I've noticed with Molecule 01 is after I let it sit for a while it changed from crystal clear to having the slightest yellow tinge. It seems like it takes time to mature. Now it's at a point where all the hype about it is coming to fruition. Patience pays off with them.

I understand about scents projecting with the heat. I absolutely LOVE amouage sunshine woman but it’s projection sucks. I always over spray it so I can create a scent cloud but it never works lol. But when I’ve had it on for a couple of hours and it starts to mix with my skin oils, it will start to project. Ugh it’s soooo good, I love it! Amouage Sunshine is what made me want to delve deeper into niche scents. They’re so much more complex than regular designer department store fragrances. Just catching up on all your videos. Great video!

Great list! I think I have to try Intense Cafe now. I usually avoid Montale due to the Montale “DNA”, but if it’s good enough to produce that response in ppl, I need to try it. I still need to try several of these.
I have never once had performance issues with Aventus....usually lasts a full work shift for me...most frag-heads are nose blind to it but trust me, wearing Aventus I will mostly always receive compliments and a lot of times its hours after application. Another side note...after collecting fragrances for 10+ years now I seem to wear Aventus most out of a 100+ bottle collection, now I just want to smell clean, fresh and inoffensive...not really after trying to smell as unique as I possibly can anymore, because I found that unique scent you think smells different from everyone else is usually off putting to most, its not really a nice fragrance, it just smells different. EVERYONE loves the smell of Aventus, its the perfect fragrance...its the Aqua di io of 2021...
Sebastian, your description of Ambra Calabria is spot on! After listening to your description of this fragrance, I decided to get a sample. The scent is definitely unique, smells very nice, now I have to convince myself to get it. I think this fragrances shines both in the opening and dry down. Thanks for the excellent recommendation.

As much as I obsessed over the real orange you get from Orange Sanguine... I bought Clementine California shortly after and you can’t beat it. An amazingly fresh, easy to wear for both men and women. Wood Sage & Sea Salt is the only one out of 4 from the line that I’ve actually finished. And I am definitely going to repurchase. Rose Anonyme is so unique. I like Extrait version as well. But I feel that it’s a gem that might not be appreciated or understood by most. Thanks for sharing

I don’t get the freshness out of Layton at all. What I get is caramel-like sweetness and vanilla. Thought I could wear it to work or casually, turns out I can’t - only on certain rare occasions when sweetness works better than freshness. Maybe it’s just body chemistry though. Otherwise great scent.

Disagree. I own Layton (my 1st Marly) and just like Pegasus, they are for colder weather. Way to dense and sweet for summer or heat in general. Even in an office setting, people will be pissed off and opening windows, propping open doors. How is that for a compliment?

I have Wood sage and sea salt and I love it but God it only lasts for 30 minutes max. And the sillage is so introspective. I think something's wrong with my body chemistry. Any suggestions good how to improve performance?
My husband always wears my perfume. A few of them. I mean I guess I like masculine/musky scents though (portrait of a lady for example)... and I HATE how many women talk to him about it. Michael Jackson only wore womens scents too. A lot of men do

I had that experience with a 2019 batch of YSL LNDL after 6 hours of application. I was surprised because I couldn't smell it.
The most compliments from strangers out of 5 different fragrances I rotate depending on my mood is hands down Baccarat Rouge Extrait.
Most compliments on Mancera Red Tobacco, ELDO Fat Electrician, Lancôme Lavandes Trianon and Tubereuses Castanes

I don’t get the freshness out of Layton at all. What I get is caramel-like sweetness and vanilla. Thought I could wear it to work or casually, turns out I can’t - only on certain rare occasions when sweetness works better than freshness. Maybe it’s just body chemistry though. Otherwise great scent.

All depends on which one YOU think is better,definetly SAMPLE first,that goes for any EXPENSIVE colognes....

great list! u have such a super vast range of perfumes in ur arsenal that we get to know something new every time u upload a video... also wanted to ask if u have used merchant of Venice perfumes(Fenicia etc.) and L'Artisan Parfumeur frags and can u do some reviews on them sometime?
L'Artisan yes and I know of Merchant Of Venice and have been to their shop in Milan and smelled many but do not currently own any! Maybe in the future. Thank you for the support! :)

Disagree. I own Layton (my 1st Marly) and just like Pegasus, they are for colder weather. Way to dense and sweet for summer or heat in general. Even in an office setting, people will be pissed off and opening windows, propping open doors. How is that for a compliment?

I wear Layton everyday. Batch consistancy varies with Aventus, not good for what people pay.
I have Wood sage and sea salt and I love it but God it only lasts for 30 minutes max. And the sillage is so introspective. I think something's wrong with my body chemistry. Any suggestions good how to improve performance?

My husband always wears my perfume. A few of them. I mean I guess I like masculine/musky scents though (portrait of a lady for example)... and I HATE how many women talk to him about it. Michael Jackson only wore womens scents too. A lot of men do
