Terrible reporting. Why are they interviewing people who are unaffected. I live in St Elizabeth, Treasure Beach area. The damage is catastrophic. People are suffering and they interview people who are clueless. When she said she is pleased it wasn't a CAT 5. Wtf! That's someone who is clueless to the loss and devastation.
We have no electricity, water or cash. The ABM machines arent working or the credit card readers. Everywhere is taking cash only except we cant get cash out.
We have roofs torn off, houses demolished, cars flipped over. 40ft containers blown from one side of the road to the other.
We lost half our roof. It was like a storm inside the house. Every ceiling was pouring water. We were thankful that a part of the kitchen ceiling mostly held up. We had to barricade ourselves in the kitchen with the mattresses of our beds to try and keep it from flooding like the rest of the house.
It was terrifying. I can't describe what we went through and the lasting impact on everyone. After the initial thankfulness of being alive the devastation set in. Everyone is more depressed by the day. It just feels so hopeless.
It's insulting to have chirpy, happy people who are ignorant of the reality of what has happened.

Thank you!!!!!!! Exactly!!!!! I live on the south coast. The devastation is immeasurable. Don't need those smug idiots, warm, dry and sitting there with their arms crossed all relaxed.
I can't imagine where they found them or why.
