KOODARAI VELLUM CELEBRATION ಕೂಡಾರೈ ವೆಲ್ಲುಮ್ ಹಬ್ಬ Today we are presenting a unique Sweet dish called as Akkaravadisal.
Akkaravadisal is prepared on KOODARAI VELLUM Fetivl i.e., 27th day of Dhanurmasa. Sri Andal Tayar-sung 30 Pasurams called Thirupavvai which is very sacred for Iyengar's. 27th Pasuraum she explains how to prepare Akkaravadisal during KOODARAI VELLUM habba. Most of the Sri Vaishnava temples celebrates this day as Noor Tada(CUP like made of Bronze) filled with Akkaravadisal and offered to Lord Krishna.
We tried to explain the easy recipe of Akkaravadisal in a simple manner also tried to present the meaning of the Pasuram in Kannada. Please excuse us for any short comings.
