Well yesterday only I bump into your video through youtube suggested video. Here I am today with this episode and heard the question you asked - "comment what you studied and why you did". I thought I will add my few lines from my own experience. If you have your self discovery at teenage - you can say you have hit the jackpot !!! If not keep looking and one day you will find your reason for existence. Many people completes graduation, got into nice job but still don't know if that is what they really wanted to do. This includes even people from IIT also. For me my self discovery happened at class 9. Before that I found study boring and studied because of parent's pressure. At class 9 I fell in love with science !!! Life made a 180 degree turn !!! I knew I was going to make a career in science and technology only. As usual, those days around mid 90's parents/elders would give you two options - Engineering/Medicine. Reason being job security first. If one studied general BA/BSc finding a job would be hard. Then not everyone could afford to go abroad for studies. So, after my 12th I ended up studying computer science engineering. Was not disappointed, wanted to do something with science and technology and got that chance.
