We had a '62 Grand Prix when I was a kid, had it during high school and while I was in the Marine Corps. It had a 389 Tri-Power, built with the expertise/guidance of John Angeles in his home garage, a T-10 4speed trans, power windows, and factory original 8-lug aluminum wheels. Been hooked on Ponchos ever since. Thanks for the video my friend, good stuff !👍 👍

From about '57 to '72 it seemed like Pontiac could do no wrong & had some of GM's best looking & performing cars. My wife had a '68 Firebird bought new & we had it for about 10 years before Michigan salty winters got to it. My brother in-law owned a midnight blue '64 Bonneville convertible that was a jaw dropper & drop dead gorgeous. Buddy of mine mustered out of the Marines in early '64 & bought one of the first GTO's, maroon 4-speed, at Packer Pontiac in Detroit. Great cars, great memories.

One of my first cars was a 1963 Catalina convertible, 421 tri power 4 speed, the aluminum center I believe 8 lug wheels, was a very unusual car, had 4 bucket seats, front were regular, the back, set like a normal seat, but divided by a console which ran from the front to the rear, was a 4 seat car, have never seen another like it. It was all factory, bright red, with red and burgundy vinyl seats. Had a factory tach bolted to the console in a brushed aluminum housing, also factory. Beautiful car, and fast for the size and weight of the car.
