Inala was the rehab area for a lot of bad crims in the pre 90s, it was full of rehabilitation houses from the correctional center. They used to drag all the violent offenders and paedos from all over Qld and trial them in the Brisbane court, and then jail them in Wacol or Annerly. Brisbane was the main court for the bad offenses. Most of them wouldn't go back to where they came from for obvious reasons and they used to mingle with the poor in the housos and take advantage of them.
A lot of violent offenders were bred from the way they were treated in Inala, the SA guy that did the bodies in barrels grew up in Inala just to name one. One of the main OMGs was started in Inala also, it was a rough place back in the day, it's pretty much a milk bar these days compared to what it was back then.

Inala is 90% Viet now days, was great to see all the Tongan and Samoan flags during the Rugby World Cup so much pride
Im viet and i grew up inala since 80s i knew sione hytongue and his cousins jason ben and them. Nothing but love for the samoans and even in high school days at glenala, where fights between samoans viets aboriginals tongans we all got along at end of day.
Cool video. I was born and raised in inala though the 80s and 90s. My mums lived there over 40 years. Its definitely changed alot over the years and not even close to what it was 20-30 years ago. Proud 4077 boy right here 🙋♂️

Bro I grew up in Inala in the 80s 90s my mum still lives there. I remember a pizza delivery driver got shot because the guy that ordered the pizza thought he was an intruder. That’s one of many stories. Before Inala plaza was built it was only Woolies and the stores between the Saigon building. It’s changed so much I. Those years and so multicultural, I love just walking through.

When I was younger, Inala was pretty rough, but it seems to have cooled down a lot over the years.
Maybe that's just because I'm older and out of the loop, haha.
The housing commissions have been slowly sold off and most the original families have moved to Ipswich or logan.
It's not a bad area these days, it's just the thieves know it's working class and not many at home during the day.

Check out Goodna Redbank Redbank Plains areas heaps of polys there. Don't think its anything like Inala as in dangerous, just some dangerous food spots like Le Sunrise and Grubbies 🤤

If you wanna see real ghettos go through some of the low socioeconomic areas up in Cairns. Mooroobool, Manoora, Manunda, Murray St, Yarrabah. After growing up in Logan then moving to Cairns, people in Brissy really have no idea how good they have it.

I’m from Manurewa uce but if you visit South Auckland go thru Otara. Bairds road, Clayton ave, Cobham and out to Preston road. All linked off the same streets. Same as if you visit Manurewa go thru Shiftnal, Trimdon, Hyperion. Big percent of Polys and Maori lifestyles in these areas. Solid video uso, keep it up

Dude, as a Palangi that grew up there 20 years ago, I can tell you it's changed. Inala plaza was the place you got stood over for $1 from an aborigine maybe 20-30 years ago.

When i first came to Brisbane I lived with my mate in Inala, 1991 same road as the jax (police) Hyancinth Street, near the park corner block and the coories use to fight in the street, try bash his dog. He built a wooden fence 6 foot high and still people would try and steal, even though they could see steel bars on the house.. Then it went vietnamese.. Now I see is somoa.. Its a nice area these day!
