After Laface, Shanice went on to focus on her personal life. Shanice has goals in life that are not confined to making albums. She wanted to sing, perform on Broadway, get an education and raise a family; all these she has achieved. Now she has done all those great things she is ready to renew her singing career and so has started her own label. She released her latest album in 2006 and that was a superb album, it did well being Indie and she will be putting out a new one early next year.
Not to worry, she'll be releasing her new album this year! And believe me you are gonna love her even more!!! Shanice voice has gotten sweeter and richer with time and she will be exploring new dimensions with her new project...So keep looking out!!!

dear fans, Shanice is the truth yes, Shanice is underrated yes, Shanice may have been over looked, but do NOT compare her to other singers who are more famous, do not discredit anyone, they are all singers in their own right and have brought something special to the industry in some way, half of the crap between singers is usually caused by people like yall who like comparing and putting entertainers against one another
What about longevity, Shanice was recording at the age of 10 but cd wasn't released until she was 13, now as for singing shanice is up there with the best of them and her voice is still golden. Singers don't last as long as she has and when her new cd is released in january, she's going straight to the TOP.
