The mess on internet about the marriage is probably because of the speculations related to infidelity. It's just sad. And yes it HAS got to do with Sana and Shoaib. Sania Mirza was one of the first sportsperson to have such a huge following at her time, everyone was crazy for her and she chose to cross borders going against everyone for the probable love of her life. I think promotions have been extensive for Nayab but you need this sort of promotion to cover the masses. Since SH is a media page, you will notice each of their visits, but the neutral audience will only see a portion of the promotions. they’ve been very smart - specifically targeting all-girls college, universities and cineplexes. They haven’t been trying to get sympathy by saying “help revive pak cinema”, they’ve been selling the film on its own merits.

People who follow celebrity News extensively would find it excessive, but the average pakistani, the target audience probably doesn't follow this stuff as much, so interacting with them is important i think. What I am extremely sad about is how Indians are trolling Sania with comments like "Humne kaha tha Sarfaraz dhoka dega" (PK movie reference), "He was already divorced once, she should have known better", and "That's what you get for breaking a home and ditching your country" when she continued to play and even win for India, even after marriage. On the contrary, Umair is only getting sympathies. It's scary because it's also a representation that in South East Asian countries, it's still a big risk for women to marry as per their own desires as they immediately get abandoned and have to fend for themselves if things go remotely sour in a marriage of their choice.

Absolutely. By congratulating it, we are somewhat contributing to the high divorce rate that is prevailing in our society these days. Secondly, as we don't know the whole story and who's at fault so we can't make a statement, but what you said apparently seems right. I am not Muslim but to the best of my knowledge, this provision was made so that abandoned or widowed women could be supported by men who are capable of managing more than one wife, mostly from a financial aspect, under the umbrella of a legitimate relationship, not because you are bored of your current wife now. And it's not a showbiz thing as well. Multiple Pakistani celebrities stay committed to one wife with full loyalty, even with all the temptation around them and having the option to marry Multiple times but choosing not to do so.

In Islam there is no concept of dating so one has to get to know his/her future spouse in the presence of their family member before Nikkah. A man is allowed to have four wives but he isn't allowed to have any kind of immoral connection to another woman while he is married to his first wife. If any married man/woman are caught in adultery while still being married to their spouses they are sentenced to death by Sharia Law.

Divorce, remarriage is not a problem, the main thing is we never knew they were actually divorced. They should first announce their divorces before announcing re marriages. For the first time, I am with the netizens on their outburst. No one is mad at their wedding. People are mad that Shoaib was clearing cheating on Sania- that’s it. I grew up with parents who hated each other and refused to divorce due to log kiya kagengey, believe me kids suffer either way from such trauma - whether from divorce or with a couple who don’t get along. But at least with that trauma of divorce it is limited to that specific time and few years after adjusting to it. Although there’s other struggles that come into it, such as parents remarriage and half siblings you need to get used to. But living with such unhappiness of a pathetic family life is constant trauma. There’s no right or wrong here. They are allowed to divorce as Islam has allowed them and to remarry. If such was an extremely negative thing for a child or human to go through, Islam would not give this right then as it tries to protect us from such pain. I wish couples could work it out, ideally a kid deserves a family life with happy parents who love each other and loves them, but that’s not life, and certainly not an experience many of us have. No one sympathises or empathises with us kids who suffer in open-shell marriages, and the void and trauma we deal with. I guess because there’s no judgement to be made on that or a divorce ka dabba to be put on by society and such.

Movie promotions are a way for stars to connect to the audiences n make them believe in the project. The lead actor of the movie is owning up for her work and r proudly promoting it! If you see the promotions, they have done it very creatively, she has also played galli cricket, distributing merchandise. N like u guys said, not just Yumna, even Usama and Fawad r supporting her in promotions. Every attention is good attention for the project. It might seem desperate, but for those who saw her in the mall or college, will definitely atleast become curious of the movie n hopefully might check out. And ofcourse yes to what extent the promotion was successful we will get to know when the movie gets released. But it had succeeded in getting people talk about it. There is nothing overdone when it comes to promoting something as long as the target reach is ensured. N also since they are doing it with so much love n energy which is clearly seen, I think the team deserves a huge shout out for this!

Marriage and divorce are not private matters but public matters. Your relationships are private matters and what happens between husband and wife is private metter. BUT getting MARRIED or DIVORCE are not supposed to be hidden or private Islamically. Your supposed to announce them publicly so people know your married or divorced in a society. These are religious/islamic matters and not hiddden so you are not accused or judged in society.

I think promotions have been extensive for Nayab but you need this sort of promotion to cover the masses. Since SH is a media page, you will notice each of their visits, but the neutral audience will only see a portion of the promotions. they’ve been very smart - specifically targeting all-girls college, universities and cineplexes. 2nd or 3rd or 4th marriage while still having a wife is the most misused thing in the society. I am not Muslim but to the best of my knowledge, this provision was made so that abandoned or widowed women could be supported by men who are capable of managing more than one wife, mostly from a financial aspect, under the umbrella of a legitimate relationship, not because you are bored of your current wife now.

In Islam there is no concept of dating so one has to get to know his/her future spouse in the presence of their family member before Nikkah. A man is allowed to have four wives but he isn't allowed to have any kind of immoral connection to another woman while he is married to his first wife. If any married man/woman are caught in adultery while still being married to their spouses they are sentenced to death by Sharia Law.

Divorce, remarriage is not a problem, the main thing is we never knew they were actually divorced. They should first announce their divorces before announcing re marriages. And the couple I thought was divorced or had ambiguous marital status, Farhan Urwa had a baby . 😂 Am I the only one who is so ill informed? For the first time, I am with the netizens on their outburst. No one is mad at their wedding. People are mad that Shoaib was clearing cheating on Sania- that’s it. Him allegedly cheating on her with multiple women for a long time fuels the fire. The fact that Sania had to go through so much scrutiny in India to marry Shoaib is also being accounted for. Sana on the other hand doesn’t have these cases. Her case seems much simpler which is why people are not talking about her- she was married and probably cheated which is huge but not much compared to Shoaib’s shenanigans

I grew up with parents who hated each other and refused to divorce due to log kiya kagengey, believe me kids suffer either way from such trauma - whether from divorce or with a couple who don’t get along. But at least with that trauma of divorce it is limited to that specific time and few years after adjusting to it. Although there’s other struggles that come into it, such as parents remarriage and half siblings you need to get used to. But living with such unhappiness of a pathetic family life is constant trauma. There’s no right or wrong here. They are allowed to divorce as Islam has allowed them and to remarry. If such was an extremely negative thing for a child or human to go through, Islam would not give this right then as it tries to protect us from such pain. I wish couples could work it out, ideally a kid deserves a family life with happy parents who love each other and loves them, but that’s not life, and certainly not an experience many of us have. No one sympathises or empathises with us kids who suffer in open-shell marriages, and the void and trauma we deal with. I guess because there’s no judgement to be made on that or a divorce ka dabba to be put on by society and such.

Movie promotions are a way for stars to connect to the audiences n make them believe in the project. The lead actor of the movie is owning up for her work and r proudly promoting it! If you see the promotions, they have done it very creatively, she has also played galli cricket, distributing merchandise. N like u guys said, not just Yumna, even Usama and Fawad r supporting her in promotions. Every attention is good attention for the project. It might seem desperate, but for those who saw her in the mall or college, will definitely atleast become curious of the movie n hopefully might check out. And ofcourse yes to what extent the promotion was successful we will get to know when the movie gets released. But it had succeeded in getting people talk about it. There is nothing overdone when it comes to promoting something as long as the target reach is ensured. N also since they are doing it with so much love n energy which is clearly seen, I think the team deserves a huge shout out for this!

Marriage and divorce are not private matters but public matters. Your relationships are private matters and what happens between husband and wife is private metter. BUT getting MARRIED or DIVORCE are not supposed to be hidden or private Islamically. Your supposed to announce them publicly so people know your married or divorced in a society. These are religious/islamic matters and not hiddden so you are not accused or judged in society.
I am personally enjoying the Nayab’s promotion very much. As yumna is a very private person hardly gives interviews or attends social gatherings seeing her in loads every where is a treat for me. The main problem was that they didn't announce their divorce other than that Shoaib has always been linked with many women . His divorce was not that big of a shock like Sana's . My sister showed the picture of them and I said that it was a campaign I was in utter shock when I got to know Sana married Shoaib
