- When I was rebuilding the 1930's Crescent Jointer I spend a lot of time shaking paint spray cans over and over again. I see the same thing on almost all the woodworking channels we all shake the paint spray cans. This is a simple build that will save allot of time off on your or someone else's build.

CHRIS! For months I've had the thought in my head to try to design something like this Awesome, dude! I'll be making one right away, fer shur.
Idea! Put a counter weight on your wheel to reduce the vibration!
where would you put it on the wheel? Weight equivalent to spray of tin , please?
Very Clever. I love it. You always amaze me on your "Gadgets" you come up with. I love them.
+Shane's Hobby Shop
Thanks Shane coming from you means a lot to me.
That is freaking awesome man love it

+Kinderhook Woodcraft
Than you!
I try to be a little bit different than the common projects that are up on RUclips
I am hoping to keep on being creative
So far, so good! You're definitely creative.
Nice collection of tools....
Thanks for the idea. I just finished one.
that's really cool. I know I've had problems with finishing by not shaking the can enough ,this looks like a great solution
Thank You!I agree i am lazy too about shaking a paint spray can my self that is why for this build.
You are the best!!!!!!!!!!!
Great idea and very good video. Keep up the good work
Thank You very much!
That's quite a paint shaker, but I was beginning to think you were building a Living room set, or maybe even a Ford pickup....lol
Good idea
Thanks Mike!
Very nice Video Chris!
Thank You!
Inspirational
Nice one. I may need to make something like that to run on my lathe.
Thank you!
William
I would make me proud and happy to see someone else making another one like mine I'll be looking forward to seeing what yours will look like
Thanks Once Again. ;-)
Cool project, new subscriber
Pretty cool if you ask me!
Thank you it was allot of fun building it.
For the towers is glue and a butt joint sufficient? Seems like there’d be a lot of lateral force. Otherwise great project.
Nice!!!
Aaron Windsor Thank you glad you like it;-)
Good job my friend :)
+TJ'S WOODWORKING SHOP
Thanks TJ's
No problem bro very nice sir :)
Nice idea very good work but can you talk a little slower? I think I aged 3 years Watching this video!!
Are plans available for this?
cool build
+Shogun-Jimi
Thank You! Jimi
By the way you do nice work I also enjoy watching your videos
I'm so busy sometimes I don't get a chance to watch all of my subscribers/subscriptions.
The narrow piece of wood with the the long slot may need some reinforcing if it is to last.
+Doggeslife
You are right about it... but i try not to run it on high RPM if i can i always run it on a low settijg, because i would need to add a counterweight on it in order to balance it.
Thank you! for your observation.
This would be great if made with metal...
Cool. had the same general idea, but was going to use a cam to get a little vibration for craft size bottles. Keep up the good work.
A cam will do as well but you may need pressure to keep it down.
Chris, the thing's great but if you shake it left to right, you would possibly break the glass beads
You need to have low rpm on it or else it will shake it's self off the table and go into pieces. But it does a nice job on mixing the paint better than by hand.
Mount board is too long, if it was lighter there'd be less forces acting on the jig. It should end at the start of the plastic top. But I like your style. Better than people clamping them to a reciprocating saw blade.
Thank you for your comment.
I made this one to acommodate a long an extra long paint spray cans.
Better than a hand job.
You are so right
Do you have plans available?
@ 5:43 Speak for yourself. I'd love to see cans flying through the air! Interesting project.
+Wood 'n' Stuff w/ Steve French
What I meant was I bet the can will be fun to watch it fly to the sky
Wood 'n' Stuff w/ Steve French this vid is more like how to make a butter maker
you should sell this ! I would love to buy one :)
Nice job, do you want sale it ? I really like it
Pepe I don't know if there is a market for it and what will be a fair price?
Chris Glitzos Chris there's be a good Market because the only other solution you can use as Divine attachment for a Sawzall, but for someone like me who doesn't own the Sawzall this would be perfect. I build boxes out of metal, boomboxes you can see on my channel, so I don't have a lot of woodworking tools in this would be perfect for me if I can get somebody to make it for me
Chris Glitzos I would pay 25 or 30 bucks for one
I am thinking 60 or 65 dollars at least. Maybe more.
Glued together? You sure that’s gonna hold up?
VERY GOOD QUESTION!
It has held very well. The trick is to have a clean cut as long as you don't sand the parts you are gluing because the fine saw-dust clogs up the small wood pores and don't let the glue penetrate deep into the wood so keep the gut clean no sanding, it will hold stronger and should not brake at the new seam... it will break at another spot but not where you have glued the new joints.
Chris Glitzos wow! Ive been working with wood my whole 39 years and noone has ever told me that but that makes so much sense
If this doesn't work you can try sell it for a f machine
What is he laughing about in the beginning?
