Blasphemy? Indian Army is not god or some sacred thing! Do you even know the meaning of blasphemy! Indian Army is not religion! Indian not retaliating in kind is an advantage the Pakistanis and Chinese have and will exploit. India's biggest mistake is to rely on British traditions and to treat and designate non uniformed cadres of an enemy as terrorists. Thats a clear indication it has no capacity t deal with Pakistans successful strategy against them.

Its the symbol of Indian Army's CHINAR CORPS (XV Corps). Chinar means maple. General Dua retired as the Corps Commander of Chinar Corps and hence he wears its insignia.

Ans: As the farmers' protests are getting too intense, let us feed the public with some nationalism. And give the credit of surgical strikes to 'country's leadership'.
Also Army listen to orders by "country's leadership" only. They cannot move a muscle without that. The credit of breaking Pakistan in 71 goes to Indira Gandhi, the credit for taking Siachen goes to Rajiv Gandhi and hence the credit of Surgical Strikes goes to the current leadership.
@@vpn2830 Bangla Desh was a huge event when compared to the surgical strikes. The surgical strikes are being used for political gain much more than Bangla Desh. Haven't seen anyone using Siachen for political gains though.
@@suhaspawar131 Surgical Strikes was also a significant moment as it was the FIRST TIME India had sent its military across the border in response to a terror attack. It signified a permanent policy change vis-a-vis Pakistan. It has now set a standard practice of military action to a terror strike which was also seen in Balakot.
@@suhaspawar131 Siachen could not be used for political gains because Rajiv Gandhi died too early for that. If he was alive today then sure enough it would have been used.
@@vpn2830 Why speculate on what would have happened if Rajeev were alive today? Also, it was not the first time the surgical strikes were conducted, AK Antony did confirm that. It was a first time they were publicised and used for political gains.
