- I made these cups two ways: 1) with wheat bread and 2) with gluten-free bread. The wheat bread cups were the prettiest of the two, but both versions were delicious. Thank you for watching.
So happy to see these older videos pop up. Very enjoyable.
one of the things I like the most about your videos is that you show your mistakes as you go. They do not stall the flow at all.
I am binge watching Kevin videos this morning. I just adore you!
I discovered your channel when I was looking for coronation quiche recipe. And since then I have watched almost all of your videos. Love all of them. Specially the ones where you show your gardens. It makes me want to live in the countryside also
Pre-cooked bacon...WHO KNEW?!? These cups are a Lovely idea. I like chives, so I'll top ours with them. Such a cute theme for a brunch.
Brunch is my favorite meal when entertaining. Miss entertaining guests so much!!!
I watch your entertainment postings. I really appreciate them because I am hostess phobic. You present confidence building menus that motivate me to go ahead and do it. You remind me that it’s about people being together and showing that you care and are willing to make an effort. You remind me that I don’t have to be a five-star chef to make that happen
KEVIN.... trying to make gluten free bread work.....that's like making a silk purse out of a sows ear . 😂🤣😂
Thats what Im talking about. I have breakfast for dinner more times than not. Any left overs with eggs and home made salsa.
I would load those cups with cornbeef hash, eggs, topped with shredded potato and shredded cheese. Great Idea.
Simple elegance!!!!!
I honestly think this is my favourite episode so far....and I'm trying to watch them all. You have an ingrained sense of humour that permeates almost every moment in your videos. I watch them for the recipes, but your humour comes in a close second. I make these cups with Pillsbury Crescent Rolls..... however, I will try rolling out white bread as you did.
K, what if you trimmed the crust off the Gluten Free bread before placing into the cupcake tin? Gluten Free...what we do for Love! 😂😂😂
Very nice presentation
I made this tonight. My oven needed 17 minutes and they were absolutely perfection! So simple too! Thank You Kevin for sharing your life with us! You’re a Gem!!
Glad you enjoyed these toast cups!!!
Oh you devil, I think I would be tempted to put one pinch of sharp cheddar on the egg. Pushing that spinach with it looks fire. Do you like pepper jelly? Love from Memphis Tennessee 🐈🐾❤️❤️❤️
Kevin, I've made these but I used spinach tortilla instead of bread. They were good.
I know you had a wee bit of trouble handling the gluten free bread, maybe a gluten free tortilla would have been the ticket. I appreciate this, as some of us have the celiac gene and do not have a tolerance to wheat breads. Thank you!
Makes me hungry! Try balsamic on your strawberries and spinach...it's excellent.
Ohhhhh.....how splendid ...
A little piece of art ...and for sure mostly delicious....
This little treasure is a MUST-TRY....
and I love the spinach-strawberry -combi-salat at the side....
Very colourful/tasty/healthy..
Have a nice sunday
I am off to a lunch-grill-party at the Rhine-river-embankment ...and will share your recepie-videos with all those artists that I will meet there....because we all plan a jour-fix...with music and food
Ok I have to stop watching! You’re making me hungry! Love your video’s!
Maybe flour tortillas would be easier in the base ... Save on all that rolling 🙃though I'd have to try it to be sure. Love your vlogs!
You and your videos are delightful.
"If you're feeling civilized..." Too funny! I'll probably try these for dinner soon, using my vegan bacon. I love the pretty plates and yummy-looking desserts that go with it. Eating in the garden sounded ideal!
These should work out fine with vegan bacon. Enjoy!
So pretty!
You are such a sweet soul.
"Pickering Tonight, old man, you did it!
You did it! You did it! You said that you would do it,
And indeed you did. I thought that you would rue it;
I doubted you'd do it. But now I must admit it
That succeed you did. You should get a medal
Or be even made a knight." - My Fair Lady
Congratulations on your success with the gluten free bread! Your meal looks delicious.
Made these for my hubs this morning...a BIG hit! Easter brunch special. Thank you!
I'm so glad!
🌸One of my very favourite channels💜💜💜🌸
I visualize music, and the table by the fire, while both of you enjoy this delicious, cozy meal. = Thank you!
Make Kevin’s white bread recipe for folks. You won’t be sorry!
Nothing better than a full breakfast for dinner in the Autumn or Winter once in a while!
I think rice paper cups would be nice too.
Also, I cook my bacon in the microwave. Use the half sheet white paper towels. Take three sheets and stack them. Late three strips of bacon and microwave 3 minutes. Immediately remove bacon from paper towels. Works great. Sometimes I fry my bacon in water until the water cooks off because I want the bacon fat for biscuits.
Happy husband Mr. Fox is so fortunate to have you and you him!
Thrilled to see the gluten free (gf) bread used as my daughter & I have celiac. Rolling GF bread with a rolling pin makes it mold easier for any project. :). Thanks for your content!
I am definitely going to try this recipe, they looked gorgeous (I did not fancy Mr Fox’s gluten free concoction though). You are a perfect gentleman and I love your videos and the recipes. Your home looks like a British Country Manor but more homely and full of love and welcome. Take care my dear Sir,look after one another. Greetings from Wales
Thank you so much for this brilliant breakfast-brunch-dinner idea! I love it!! I will definitely try it and share with my loved ones! You are ALWAYS civilized and well-cultured, and a bit cheeky-sweet too! I would definitely enjoy dining with you in the garden, as it is so beautiful out there. Thank you, again! Take care and be safe! 😉💖🙏
🌸May I suggest making a few flat breads from ground lentils and water as the bread component of this beautiful dish for Mr. Fox 💜🌸💜 also sourdough bread has a lower gluten content than regular bread which I am sure you might know💜
My daughter makes wonderful gluten free bread.
Its so good😊
Awesome, dinner on the Go! Always love it! Great video, thank you.
I am so happy I don't have to worry about gluten but these days one would need to take out a second mortgage to buy bacon, lol. Thank you Kevin, this looks so YUMMY!!
Kevin, Bless your heart. They look delicious . Love this recipe and never have made these, but i would love to give these a try. God Bless.
So much fun❣️
I”m definitely
making these
❤ Thank You
Looks fabulous as usual 👨🍳🍾🥂that would be a fantastic brunch with a Mamosa‼️ look after yourself and have a great week Kevin.
I agree. A "side dish" of Champagne mixed with orange juice would be most fitting for these adorable Toast Cups. Enjoy!
can’t wait to try these!
Can't say 'NO' to Bacon & Eggs for sure, thanks Kevin . You hook me up now
Those look great
Kevin, another inspirational recipe, thank you. Just perfect for Autumn evenings like now. Not sure we can buy pre-cooked bacon in the UK but I'd prefer to cook mine as I need it anyway. Thanks again. You're a star.
This is a lovely, elegant idea!
Love it !!! 😍🥰 Thank you 🤗
Oh my gosh, I never thought about rolling a slice of bread thin! Your video is great. Thanks so much for the recipe. We love B and E so this is already a winner.
They do look delicious! Thank you for the video!
Going to be making these for sure!!! TY!!! They do look super yummy!!!
Delicious!!!!
Lovely. Thank you. I will try them this weekend.
Amazing😍
I keep a couple of boxes of pre-cooked bacon in the pantry, for when I just don't feel like cooking up some bacon. I just wrap it in paper towels and pop them into the microwave, and DONE! But they are pretty pricey for what you get. For that kind of money we should get at least three sealed pouches, not two!
They look wonderful! That is what I am having for breakfast tomorrow. I had chicken with 40 cloves of garlic last week. You are my go to influencer for cooking.
Thank you, Katie!
You should try chicken with two halves of an unstressed lemon 😊 insides the chook dinner party fabulous
❤ I love this! I’ll try soon along with the beautiful strawberry salad.
Definitely will try for medium egg middle. Love your humor at the end with Mr. Fox.
Mr. Fox watched the game for 4 solid hours. Afterwards, he came downstairs to tell me the gluten-free cups were "fantastic." Music to my ears.
@@kevinleejacobs1364 Well, that is a special appreciation. Ms.Fagan knows Sundays are Green Bay Packer Days. So I too am glued to the game! Lol!
They look beautiful and I’m sure that they tasted delicious.
Kevin, your egg cups look much more appetizing than the gluten-free! LOL. Beautiful and inspiring presentation. I am going to try this over the weekend as I am having company, and it will be fun and something unique. I love your plates--gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
Yes the were perfect
WELL DONE KEVIN 😎😎😎
Hi Kevin, I tried that this morning with just egg, red bell pepper, salt, and olive oil…. All I can tell you, is that it was deliciously luscious good as well. Thank you. 🍀😊🌺
Hi Radar2ana - I would ADORE your version of these toast cups. Yum!
Yum!
Miam miam🥰 I take one of the gluten free.... Thank you🌷
You make such good meals, I am not crazy about eggs but you make them look so good I am going to try them!
These look awesome Kevin .. I’ll make them for breakfast this week. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a great week.
The gluten free look more rustic but both kinds are super delicious looking. I don’t mind softish toast into which the top can soak.
Kevin the recipe looks delicious and I love your presentation/setting.☺️
What an awesome recipe! Will definitely make these…Who is the maker (and pattern name) of your beautiful blue flower dishes? They are so versatile…Casual yet can be formal as well. 😊
Plates are Staffordshire 'Liberty Blue.' They are timeless beauties!
@@kevinleejacobs1364 Oh, Kevin…forgot to mention…The dishes in this video are not the Staffordshire…They are a pretty blue floral!
I love your cooking videos! You are very entertaining and such a great cook.
Thank you so much, Donna!
I hope someday we can meet Mr. Fox.
Hey Kevin...maybe instead of bread...use HASHBROWN POTATOES ...!! :)
Yumm! sounds
really good 💞
Thank you
The crusted ones are much more appealing
Kevin, place a piece of wax paper between the gluten-free bread and your rolling pin. It might work but maybe not.😊
Trimming off the crust BEFORE you roll out the bread may be less wasteful and easier! I would have removed the crust from the Gluten free bread (it's always a touch bitter) and then cut the rest of the slice, into maybe strips and set three going one way (touching each other, and then three going across the first three, touching each other....or maybe if the strips are pliable, you could even "basket weave" them ? )
Kevin if you haven't, try canyon bake house GF bread Hannaford carries it, I like it better than Udi's,, These look yummy!!
Mr. Fox purchased the Udi's loaf. Will ask him to pick up the Canyon Bake House bread next time. I've noticed that most of the GF breads are smaller than standard wheat-based sandwich loaves. Impossible to cut out 4 1/4-inch rounds from them!
KEVIN ROCK ON 😎😎😎
Hey! I could like Red Sox fan! I remember how exciting it was when they broke "The Curse of the Bambino!" Was that about 2003 or 2004?
maybe try trimming off the crust on the gluten free bread--might mold better in the cups-- as always looks delish!!! :)
I wonder if a lentil crepe/ flatbread would work for the gluten free version egg cup?
Next time, just put a bit of butter on your pin for the gluten-free, or between some parchment you would have been able roll it out. Next time?
I wonder if you could use tortillas?
Hi Kevin. I was thinking. What about trying to use gluten free pancakes?
i think this is more of a "recipe of patience" wow, i know why i wont eat gluten free.
I think your terrific
I hate to be one of “those” people, I love your cooking and videos, but I can feel the panic rising if you used the same rolling pin and bread board without a thorough clean or completely different utensils. Cross contamination would have me feel ill for a week. I hope Mr Fox isn’t that bad with GF. Ooh and roll between cling film or parchment paper. I will definitely try these myself. 😊
I had the same thought. I have friends that would be in agony too. When I cook for them, I clean the kitchen completely and make the GF food first. Store it safely out of the way and then make the rest of the menu.
Why didn't you remove the crust and roll it out like you did the others bread. Do think that you would have less problems Mr Kevin. Please let us know in case we missed something. 🤔
You missed something
The gluten free bread
Does not stretch like
the wheat bread…
Kept sticking to roller .
You could have left the crust on.
I would have removed the bread crusts.
Oops just kidding Kevin
ham instead of bacon might work for people who have no desire whatsoever for bacon or pork products Just one of those things that irks people who dont like the smell
The gluten free looks terrible lol 😂
