Great tips! I think personally the most important one is to try don’t let the community dictate to you which figure should be a grail , and what to buy to begin with . While being in the fb groups etc communicating and participating with other collectors can be super helpful in many aspects , it has the down side of creating a collective mind of sorts that dictates what’s “ in “ and what’s “ out”. And we need to be more aware of it in order not to follow the herd mentality and end up with the exact same collection everybody else has , despite not fitting with our inner needs . ✌️
Enjoyed hearing your approach! I think this can be applied to 1:12 collections also! Have you talked about the stands you use? They look simple, but aren’t as space hogs as the bases that come with most figures. Do you make your name plates also?
Thanks for watching! I do make custom bases but have never made a video about what I use and the process. I’ll look to cover that in one of my next videos. 😊
They are custom and not a ready made product. I bought all of the parts and put them together with the help of my brother. The video about my garage shelf build had a section on the lighting (what we used and how we put it together).

I couldn’t agree more with you!
Great video just what the community needs.
Thank you! 🙏

Facebook Market Place. They are called frameless display cabinets. They are very basic, I added the lighting and vinyl backing to them.
