He doesn't say anything about the falling out he had with Bill Murray. They didn't speak again for many years, until Ramis was dying and Murray finally visited him and tried to make peace.
40:53, Harold Ramis says: "in Danny's original script, believe it or not, Danny had him living the same day over and over again for 10,000 years, which is actually, kind of a convenient Buddhist catchphrase, 'everything seems to take 10,000 years' in Buddhism, but we thought we should reduce the scope of it for the audience, its hard for people to get their minds around the idea that this could go on that long"
Director solo commentaries are the way to go. I'd recommend them to anybody who appreciates film.
Absolutely fantastic! Thanks! I watched the film and listened to this.
I love how detailed he gets about it. This is like an eye opener for such a classic movie that takes ya in to another world.

The opening to this video is bizarre... Harold Ramis addressing himself post-mortem
RIP, Egon ❤
Not as good or as dense as Ramis' commentary on Ghostbusters, but still interesting to listen. He was a very underrated author in American cinema.
which version of dvd has this? :>
7th version
this is great!
