In Wisconsin, if your income is low enough, you are eligible for Badger Care.

Hi! A very fine informative video. I notice its from 2 years ago. Did the medical inflation rates happen go back up to the typical 5 or 6% you mentioned?

Have you done a video explaining how you could take money out of your IRA but also use the medical expenses as a write off on your taxes? Isn’t that a way you could withdraw IRA money and not pay taxes on it? If you use it for assisted-living for example?

Perhaps the smartest thing I did in life was retire from the Army Reserves. My wife and I have Medicare and a DoD paid supplement. We have virtually no out-of-pocket expenses for medical or drugs, and never a hassle.
Access to decent lower-cost Dental also.

You forgot to show the additional IRMAA premium costs tied to Part D which is in addition to the Part B premiums shown in your chart at 22:23. I know IRMAA cost was not the focus of your video, but I think whenever you mention it, both the Part B and Part D IRMAAs should be shown. You did mention Part D, but since it wasn't shown, I bet most folks missed that.

Sure would love you to focus on medicare and roth conversions for people with significant pensions. Now and then you throw in a term tipping your hat for people with pensions, but you don’t say much. HOW DOES a pension .. let’s say a $40k pension, change you retirement plan? How about a $60k pension .. on a $100k budget for the go go years.

Another outstanding video from Eric from Safeguard Wealth Management, who teaches us how to help tame the beast that Warren Buffet calls an unrelenting tapeworm on our finances.

I’m sorry but normally your videos are spot on but this one was not
    Example he talk about medical
But few people ever even get that they get one of the advantage plans which have zero cost
You talk about nursing home costs but don’t come up with any of the examples on how to pay for it
    Very disappointing

So many videos about Federal welfare programs, Social Security and Medicare. No need for seniors to be so greedy. These programs are paid for by the taxes young workers pay and the elderly should be grateful, not bitter. Have a nice day!!
